A little late this week, but I think we have all been busy! 

On Monday, DH and I moved (AGAIN!) to our hopefully-forever military home. AKA our home for the next three years. We have been waiting for this day for 2+ years, and it is such an ENORMOUS relief!!! We have been bounced around during our engagement and newlywed time while they completed construction on our military base. Now we are the first people to live in this lovely new house, and it's awesome! Even though I'm sitting here surrounded by boxes, I have already had more time for PW in the last two days than I have in the last six months. I'm loving it! The weather has also started to break here, and the fall weather is amazing! 

What is up with you ladies? Any fun plans for the weekend? 

Ohh Debbie! I love that you moved into your new house. I remember how DH & I felt, two years ago, when we put our feets in this brand new house that had been made just for the two of us. Wonderful!! Sometimes, we're talking about moving in a couple of years and we can't figure ourselves buying something else than a new construction again...I guess we'll see.

For us, it has been a pretty calm week. It was DH birthday yesterday. I bought him the new Ipad...he was pretty happy :). Otherwise, it has only been working for both of us.

This weekend, DH's has a baseball tournment. I was supposed to go to the spa with some of my girlfriends on saturday, but due to medical conditions, I can't...:(. So I guess I'll stay at home and work on my thesis. At least, I'll be able to join my friend for the dinner and then spend the evening with them.

Hi ladies! I've been so busy the last days and weeks and I don't know where time is going!

Debbie: Congrats on the new house! That's great and I hope you can settle in well!

Pavez: I hope you're recovering soon and that you can enjoy the weekend, even though you can't go to the spa.

This week I had a different work schedule and acutally I'm at work today (instead of wednesday) and DH took the day off to look after LO. I can't wait to go back home an hear how the day went. It's the first time that DH spends a whole day alone with our little man:)

Tomorrow we have to go and get a carseat for the LO, he's growing fast and we need to get him in the seat soon. On Sunday I will do some baking as on Monday we already celebrate Fabrice's first birthday! This is so exciting! :)

How exciting Debbie! Are you in the military or his your DH?

No grand plans for this weekend. Working my second job this evening and tomorrow morning. I have been having numerous doctor appointments for the never ending medical issues I seem to keep having. Had colonoscopy done yesterday and thank goodness nothing to bad except polyp removal and diverticulosis. After I get off work tomorrow, think me and DH are going to take his kids to play laser tag.

Deb! Thanks for posting this week's update.  Things got crazy here on Sunday and haven't settled down much this week. 

That is SO exciting that you guys got your home!!!  I can't wait to see how you decorate it to your and T's style!  : )

@Pascale - I definitely agree with you about how awesome it feels to get your own home.  DH and I have been in our home for a little over a year and even though it's a "used" one, we have slowly but surely redoing it to make it our own.  Happy Birthday to your DH!!! I hope you guys had a great time celebrating!!!  I hope you are feeling better as well!!!

@Olivia - I love what you said about not knowing where the time has gone.  I definitely agree with that! I don't know where I lost time, but we are now going into the second half of September and it feels like I lost a month or two.  How was the LO with your hubby yesterday! Happy First birthday to him!!!!  Shopping for a carseat seems so fast - I remember when you just had him.  : )

@Tressy - Hope you are feeling better and that your medical appointments are going smoothly!!! 

Things here have gotten a little hectic, which I am grateful for because who knows when my work will slow to a crawl again.  : )  DH got a bonus this week - thank goodness and we are planning on another reno project for this fall.  I have also been doing more crocheting and two of my friends even asked me to make them a few things that would pay me for, so that was a plus.  : )

Thank you, ladies! We have been patiently accumulating furniture and things over the last year or so, and now we finally have a pretty house to decorate! I will try to post pics once I get all these darn boxes unpacked. The simple joy of having our new house, along with the fact that fall is here...I can't stop smiling! I just want to make meals in the crock pot, bake up a storm and watch some football! :-)

@Pascale: I have been thinking about you a lot this week. I hope your recovery is going well, and that you are able to spend some good quality time with your friends this weekend <3

@Olivia: I can't believe your LO is going to be a year old! WHERE does the time go?! That is too cute that your DH was alone with him for the first time! I bet he did great :-) 

@Tressy: My DH is in the Air Force. We are from Texas, but we are stationed in South Carolina right now. I am loving life on the East Coast! I hope you are feeling okay, and that your tests help you figure out what is going on. {Hugs}

@Becca: I'm SO glad to hear that your business is busy again! I know all about that feast or famine mentality with work, so I know you're grateful for the work. I remember when you guys moved into your house, too...I would love to see some updated pics, because I know you guys have done a lot of work.
