Hello!! There are a lot of threads popping up about weight watchers and jennifer25 suggested making one thread for everyone to post into, so I figured I would just go ahead and start it.

I am thinking with this thread we can share our ups and downs of weight watchers, good recipes we may come across and weight loss of course!!

If you have a question about WW you can go ahead and ask them on this thread as well!

Edit: 6/24/11 I started a WW group!! Come on over and join!! :)

I started WW 5 weeks after giving birth to my daughter because I need to whip this booty in shape for my wedding! So far with the new points plus it is working out really well I managed to only gain 1 pound over christmas and the new year. Pretty proud of myself for that!! Cant wait to here a little bit about everyone else and watch us drop these pounds week after week!!! :) :) :)

WW Ice Cream

  • 16oz Greek Yogurt Fat Free or Low Fat
  • .5-1 Cup Frozen fruit ( I used raspberries, add as much or as little fruit as you'd like since its Free pts!)
  • Halt tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tsp sweet and low or any other sugar substitute ( I used quite a bit more sweetand low, but this is what the recipe calls for)

Blend, and freeze for one hour!!... Depending on which yogurt you get, 1 serving should be right around 4pts for 1 cup.

When you joined WW:  I've been watching what I eat since January 2, 2010. Though I have not officially joined WW, I'm using the points system as a guideline.

Meetings/Online/Both: Neither specifically

Weigh-in days: Sunday

Pounds to go before goal weight: 15 to 20 more lbs

Total lost so far: 8 lbs in the last 2 weeks!

It's crazy to see how much I was really eating (portion wise) and to see what a real portion size is!

lex- are you using the new points plus? or the old system?

geanbean- what exactly are you eating? At my meetings they tell you, you are NOT supposed to be hungry at all. Are you utilizing your 49 weekly points? Even when I used ALL of my points and ALL of my weekly points I still lost, so dont be afraid to use them.  Plus if your hungry you could always grab some fruit since they are ZERO points :) Another good meal with not a lot of points is chicken. One chicken breast is 3 points.  HTH!!
