~ I'm Andrea, and I married my husband, Dan, on May 2, 2009. We were married on the beach in St. George Island, FL, and it was the most beautiful day of my life! We went for a casual, intimate feel with subtle beachy and rustic details. Lots of pics in my bio, but here are a few to give you an idea of where the color yellow fit in:

Our color scheme was inspired in large part by my brother, who was stationed in Afghanistan as an Army soldier during our planning (he got home safely about 2 months ago). I decided to incorporate the yellow ribbon that recognizes deployed troops into our bouquets, and it kind of grew from there.

My name is Hannah.  Elliott and I were engaged in February 2008.  I was 18 at the time.  DH and I are musicians.  I love tea and want to open a tea shop when I finish my degree in Ceramics.  We live in Arkansas.

The wedding was in a small town in Arkansas at a little church and the reception was at the church also in the basement with conveniently yellow walls making darling pictures for me.  The theme of my wedding was whimsical tea party.  Originally it was going to be victorian inspired and in the winter with lots of long dresses, hats, and ruffles, but when we moved it to May 23,2009 (the final wedding date), we brightened things up by adding yellow to our wedding colors turquoise and brown.  We lost the long dresses and wintery feel, but kept a bit of the victorian inspire that was reflected in the paisley vests and style worn by the guys.  If I had had my way, my BMs would have all worn lacey Betsey Johnson Tea Party Dresses.  We had an afternoon, very casual wedding in May with tons of yellow.
