Ladies, at this point I dont even know if I should laugh or cry!  Just got DH's sperm results...they are slow...oddly I'm not that shocked, his brother also has slow sperm.

So, our doctor has referred us to an fertility specialist.  So B has to get a blood test tomorrow and then the specialist office will call us to set up an appointment.  I dont imagine we'll get in quick...

It just seems to be one thing after another...but at least I now know whats happeneing and can take the next steps! :)  I will get there, its just gonna take a while...from what the doctor told B they will track me through u/s' and put the sperm right in my tubes so it doesnt have to swim anywhere...

Well, wish us luck...haha we need some!

Slow sperm? Well that sucks :( Good luck, i hope that things can be fixed very soon.

I'm glad you guys are able to continue figuring out what's going on. If we want to have any fertility work done, it has to come out of our pocket :( I'm wishing the best for you!

im sorry hun. sounds like they are going to try an IUI. also wanted to let you know that my DH has slow sperm, an abnormally large number of sperm, but they are lazy. I did some research and it seems that acupuncture can help with it.

hmmm I will look into that Jess! haha ya DH said "they stop for dorritos and slurpees" lol.  they said he hazs a great number but they are slowwww....

I am hoping IUI is my ticket!

Aw, Bummer, sorry to hear about the road block. On the bright side, at least you guys are being proactive!

lol, so they stop for snacks, then nap? definetely look into it, even my RE recommended it. So, this is his third week going with me. the game plan is to get the old lazy sperm out, and for him to start producing active sperm

Thanks ladies...this "roadblock" is wearing on me a bit harder today but I am trying to keep my head up.  Its just a bit of a bummer that both of us have something wrong...I dont ovulate and his sperm would never get to the egg anyways...

Ive been reading up on IUI last night so I hope this can work.  My heart is starting to get heavy...Brandon is doing his blood work this morning.  I hope we can get in decently soon.

@jess: lol yes, thats what B said, snacks haha!  I will talk to him about the acupuncture for sure!!  I have been wanting to try it so perfect reason!
