Becca- They are seriously the greatest people. I love them dearly and am so blessed to have them in my life! I could not be luckier!!

Day 4:  I am grateful that my hubby was able to fill his gas tank today AND that he got the call that his office now has power and he will be back to work tomorrow. 

Day 3- I am so happy that I had the resources to help those who have lost everything in Hurricane Sandy. I'm thankful that I have a husband who is compassionate and supportive of me and whatever idea I take on.

Day 4- I am thankful for my mother! Today is her birthday. She's been the most amazing mother. Even though we've had our differences through the years, she has always been loving and supportive.

I'm a few days late - yesterday was an adventure!

Day 5:  Grateful that DH was allowed back to work and that they had not suffered any major damage to the building. We are going to pitch in this weekend (hopefully) to assist any of his coworkers who might need our help.

Day 6:  I am thankful that I live in a country that allows us to exercise our voices, no matter whom you voted for.  : )

Day 7:  I am extremely thankful for my Mom (even though she is no longer with us) for each and everything that she taught me while she was alive.  While this past year and especially the last few weeks have been extremely trying for my husband and I, I have tried to always keep hope that things would get better and that no matter how bad we have it, there is always others who have it worse off and that I need to be thankful for what I have, both good and bad. 

I absolutely love reading all of these. @Rania-I can't believe that gas story, so crazy. What great families we all have!

Day2-Nov 2 is my Mom's birthday. I am so lucky to have a wonderful mother, who I am like more and more each day!

Day3-I am thankful to have a wonderful home to come home to each day.

Day4-I am thankful to be able to go on vacation. Even though DH and I don't make that much money, we seem to live sensibly and are still able to afford the occaisonal outing with our friends or ourselves 

Day5-I am thankful I have a job that I like. I hate it when DH is in a down mood because of work, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Day6-I am thankful about the election.

Day7- I'm thankful I am a very balanced person, especially after the election. I get that everybody has different view points, but there are some people who feel the need to bash the other side or what not, and I hate it. I am glad I am not that person (on either side of the spectrum).

Day 8:  I am extremely thankful today that we just found out that DH's work WILL be paying him for the entire week last week when they had no power and we had no power/internet.  It's such a blessing, I actually was in tears when he told me earlier.  : )

Aw, love good companies like that!

Day 8-I am thankful for wonderful ladies like yourself! 

Day 9:  I am thankful for all of the amazing and wonderful friendships I have made here through PW. 

Day 10:  I am thankful that my hubby and I have been able to find ways to overcome the negatives that have been thrown at us and that we were able to spend some time yesterday assisting fellow hurricane victims. 

Day 11:  I am thankful to be blessed with the hunger for knowledge.  I had always been taught to approach each day with the open mind and heart to try and learn something new each day.  : )

Day 12:  I am extremely thankful that I have had the opportunity to reconnect with my Mom's side of the family and that we are planning to get together after the new year. 

Day 13: I am thankful to have a home that is safe after the storm, as I have been seeing so many people that I know who have lost so much after this superstorm.  The struggles that they are going through just for basic necessities just absolutely breaks my heart.

Day 14: I am thankful that we are given/find just exactly what we need. 

Day 15: I am sooooo thankful and honestly quite overwhelmed at this one...Eric just sent me a text to tell me that the company that he works for JUST each person at the company he works a $50.00 gift card for a local grocery store.  Now I don't have to worry how to pay for our turkey dinner.  I started busting out crying.  Through the heartache and chaos, there are truly amazing good people.  I am truly humbled.  : )
