What are your spring colors?

I am all over the place with color scheme. We're going for a french garden theme so I was originally thinking peaches, golds, champagnes. But I also really love the black, yellow and white I have seen a lot of lately. I am also trying to incorporate the fleur du lis & lithographic bee.

What's your inspiration?

I love the warm look of peaches, golds, and champagnes. It's very classic and elegant. Black, yellow, and white is more modern though and will probably look nice with the black contrast. I'm more of a traditionalist though so your first color scheme sounds more like a romantic "french garden."

I think the peach/gold/champagne is more timeless. I love the idea of the fleur du lis by the way. =)

If my wedding were in the spring I think I would probably choose these colors:
1) yellow + white + green (no black). It feels so light and airy. Martha Stewart featured a beatiful wedding with this color combination and it looked so light and airy.
2) green + tiffanyblue + brown (or beige instead of brown). I loved Lisa Wong's wedding and the combination looks beautiful for an outdoor wedding.

If you really like the yellow+black+white you should check out nancy liu chin's website. She just did a black/white French-themed spread for a magazines and you could easily incorporate yellow into it.

I think you're right on target with the warm yellows and peaches for the French Garden theme! I think it's a lovely theme by the way. I took a peek at your bio and I think the peach, gold, champagne feels more like a french garden in wine country.

I like the idea of combining champagne with green for a vintage chic feel. Abby Jean made a beautiful board in this color scheme.

Beautiful Abby Jean board! When I think spring, I think pastel floral colors like yellow and pink. I think a pink and champagne/gold scheme would look beautiful. Martha Stewart had a beautiful pink/gold inspiration palette thing one or two issues ago.

I saw that and thought it was great, but I am refusing to let myself use pink. It's really sad and I'm not sure that I have a real reason why...except for everyone I know uses pink.

Oooh these are really pretty! I see a lot of green weddings these days and I think they are beautiful. (Green as in the color and also eco-friendly)
