Mrs. Hodder - you're not starting an addiction, you're enabling a new hobby! And we all love enablers! lol
I too have more than I thought I would ever have. My yarn tote is overflowing and I'm going to have to move into another one soon. I have about 11 out of 13 skeins of worsted that I was going to make into an afghan during a CAL
(crochet-along) but didn't have the time and still don't have the last 2 skeins I need. However I still have the pattern so I can get it done whenever I have the time. (After the wedding, after the holidays, sometime next year...)
And it doesn't stop there. I'm starting to get into the processing of wool before it becomes yarn. I have two colors I'm actually spinning myself and another ball that needs to be dyed. (I'm intrigued with kool-aid dyeing!)
