What do I consider CD1?

On Monday I finished my two weeks of prometrium and yesterday noticed some very light spotting and today it's still very light.  I'm supposed to start Clomid on CD3 and I'm not sure if I should consider yesterday CD1 or wait until it gets a little heavier?

My Dr. said CD1 is full flow, not spotting.  I'd wait until it's heavier.  Good luck!

Have you taken prometrium before? All I ever do is spot (a little heavier then 'light' though) when I take it but I'm not sure if that's a concern yet, need to speak to my doc in a few weeks. I'm hoping its not and she will give me clomid!

This was my first time taking it so I'm not sure what to really expect the next few days...if I keep spotting like this and waiting for it to get heavy then I might miss the right day to start clomid.  I think I'm just going to consider today CD1 and start Clomid on Saturday. :)

Call your doctor to confirm...but some people only have a really light spotting on it (I had the opposite but everyone is different).  If you have had spotting two days in a row I would consider the first day as CD 1.

This last cycle, I started and it was so light I was confused if I should count it as CD 1 - good thing I did because the next day was pretty much exactly how my CD2 flow is and my period lasted the normal 5 days.

Everyone's definition of "light" is different too. Are you going through a light tampon a day?  or would the amount be small enough for a pantyliner?

Like ccia said, if you have spotting again tomorrow, I would consider it CD1~~  Wishing you luck this cycle!!

Yeah, I would definitely call your doctor to confirm before starting.  You don't want to start too soon...

I agree that you should call your doctor...this topic all depends on your doctor!! Mine considered the first spot as day 1 but I hear other doctors have told their patients first day of actual flow.

I had spotting too on clomid, but my RE said to wait until the first real/full flow. AF was lighter for me on clomid.
