What fabric should I use for this glider?

I found this white glider with matching ottoman on CL for $40, SCORE!!  I want to recover the cushions/ottoman to match our nursery a bit more.  Right now it's a super light baby blue and white stripe fabric... I washed the cushions in hot water last night and there are no stains, it just looks a little worn and needs some revamping.

I found a great tutorial online where you use a seam ripper to take apart the existing cushions and use the old fabric as a pattern.  If we go this route I'll be asking my mom to help me with it! :)

Another option I thought of is to try to find an outdoor chair cushion that fits and use that for the chair part, then I'll have to find matching and/or coordinating fabric to cover the ottoman.

I did find this cushion online that matches the bench cushion I purchased... however I'm reading in some online reviews that these cushions are much more orange/red than red, so I might have to return the bench cushion if that is the case and start at square one.  It also might be too much next to the bench...

This is how I plan on laying out the room... as you can see the under the window bench is right next to the glider.  Would that be polka dot overload?

What do you think?  The most economical option is the DIY recover... any suggestions on fabrics?

I think I would do a solid color. Maybe pink to match the crib bedding and other pink accents. Then maybe you could do the red and white polka dot throw pillow? :-)

or maybe a white one with ice aqua and red pillow?!

I agree with the solid color - maybe pink or red and then doing some accents :) That way the polka dots aren't too overwhelming KWIM?
