Does anyone know what kind of flowers would be in season in September? What kind of flowers are you using?

Aster * White, Pink

Chrysanthemum * White, Yellow, Orange, Pink, other colors

Dahlia * Many Colors

You can also usually get sunflowers and gerbera daisies pretty easily.  Best of luck!

depending how early the wedding is,  some summer flowers are still "in season"  so you can get away with using more colorfull  late summer flowers that are still reasonably priced

Here is a good site for purchasing flowers at a wholesale price and you can pretty much get any kind of flower, depending on your budget.  www.fiftyflowers.com

Hydrangeas are in high season in September - and they are a great filler for bouquets.  If its cool where you are, you won't need water tubes on them (they need a lot of water) but if its warm, get the tubes.  They will wilt and brown easily if you do not.
