Since i am the only Lebanese in pw, let me tell you a little bit about what is a lebanese wedding...

A Lebanese wedding must be fancy and not discreet at all, people spend a lot of money on weddings in lebanon around 30000 $ and more.... My wedding  is not that fancy , because i have always disapproved that but it's more creative and funny....

First of all the bride must be ready around 1pm for a photoshoot and then she goes home and wait ....
All the close friends and family come to the bride's house and take pictures with her and then one hour before the ceremony, the groom's parents come accompanied with cultural musicans and dancers and everyone will escort the bride out of her parent's house to the church he's an example of what we call Zaffé ( the musicians and dancers )

The bride will be escorted by everyone to the church by a car convoy and car horns till she arrives to the church, where the groom will be waiting for her, they walk down the aisle together, the relegious ceremony will be held and after that the diner where everyone goes again, everyone take their places and wait for the bride and groom who will enter together escorted as well by the same group of musicians but bigger this time ... the diner starts and after that we start our first dance, and then everyone starts to dance till the next day ! the music never stops..

For the cake we have the habit of cutting a big fake cake and distributing on each table a small cake with small fireworks ....

We do have the bouquet and the garter toss...
But we don't have a rehearsal diner or a shower, we have a bachelorette party of course !

After the 26th of August i will put my wedding pictures so u'll see what is this wedding i am talking about !
