Our budget is $2500.  We're having a small, casual wedding.

We are trying to definitely stay between $5-7k

We pushed the wedding back a bit so that we would have a bigger budget to work with.  Our wedding will still be under $5,000 though since it will be such a casual event.

I think that we'll have no problem with our $2K budget since we're going to have a small wedding. Probably under 50 guests.

I am really going to try and keep everything under 10K but it will be so hard!  Everything is so expensive!

We are cruising and doing the wedding in St. Thomas when we stop there through a local wedding planner there.  We are spending about $15,000 for everything.  My father is giving $5,000 to get everything going and then a little more if we need it.  We are saving $6,000 this year to put towards it and my FI's father bought our room which was like $2,500.  I feel so lucky having the help of my family!

BTW....I love seeing all these budgets under the $28,000 wedding cost average.  I don't think people should waste so much money on one day and go into marriage in debt. (Unless, of course, $28,000 is not a lot of money to you. Then by all means spend spend spend!)

$2K -$2500 - Small guest list (25-30 ppl - adults only) @ county park facility (its the perfect bldg actually, for ceremony & reception) its inexpensive....all I got to say is that, there is a whole lotta DIY going on... another of which is,  I got to DIY two of these beautiful wreaths for the doors of the venue bldg.....still trying to decide (probably one w/monogram)......and there's more....the list is long....but I'm super excited!
