What part of your wedding represented you most?

In my case, it was a number of things. (1)THE COLORED DRESS, lol. There was no way I wanted to look like every other bride (no offense to white dresses) on my wedding day. No updo, no curls, no veil and I was just as 'bridal'. (2) The location, Dee and I go to the park and eat icecream at least once a week just to unwind, so what better place... (3) The dress code, there wasn't one. I definately have my own style so I wanted everyone there to wear what they liked. There are lots of others but those are the ones that made the day 'ours'.

What about you?

Definitely the ceremony.  It was written by both of us and my grandfather co-officiated.  It was just so personal and so "us".

Our decor will be about us. Each table will be covered in candles and then a picture of us and each table will have a theme(one military, one for our trip to disney and so on).

The entire wedding will be a representation of us and the kind of people we are. That has always been our goal since we first spoke of marriage. We want for us and anyone who knows us to be able to look back on our wedding day and see us in every aspect. It may sound selfish but we want everything to be about us :)

The organisation!!!! Ahah! Everybody keeps telling me how EVERY single thing was well planned...which didn't surprise them considering my personnality.

Other than that, I guess the serenity and the love DH & I share this day really represented ourselve since we're a "no-drama" couple as our friends always tell us.

I think technically our whole wedding will represent "us" b/c we are picking out every single thing. But the one thing that screams "US" will be our alter decor. We are very excited about that. Two words: Will Ferrell.

Pretty much the whole thing, the decor, the clothes, the theme, location. I am most proud of the fact that we didn't cave and had a vegetarian wedding, despite the fact that a lot of people told us not to. It is the way we live and it's part of our values. No animals were harmed for our reception and we were both very happy about it.

It will be the thoughtful things I do for FI.  Things that will unfold all throughout our day. I am always told that I'm so generous and thoughtful, so that is the overall feel I want the day to present to our guests.

That, and the colour red that will be found in various elements is all me!  That is the big 'me' part.

Our ceremony was very “us” as we wrote it out ourselves. The music that we walked into was also very personal. I LOVED the game we played during the meal “why are Lorna and DH together” it ended up being a hilarious roast rather than the romantic quotes the DJ was expecting. It was so us and so our friends lol

We honestly had the perfect day and I couldn’t have asked for more.
