Good to see some responses finally! Last weekend I rented a huge 400mm f2.8 lens, went down to Monterey Bay and took a bunch of sea otters photos. I'll upload them in a few days. That lens is hefty, 8+ lbs! I was really
worried that I wouldn't be able to manage it, according to many forum discussions. But I managed to handhold it half of the time during the 2-hour boat ride. Must be my mommy muscles working!
andrea, congrats!!! It's so exciting! I was too tired during most of my pregnancy to pick up the camera. But I'm glad that I pushed myself and did a photography baby moon with DH during the 2nd trimester. We took 2 cameras and
a tripod to Utah and did some hiking and landscape photography, because I knew I wouldn't be able to do that for many years to come. Once you feel your energy returns in the 2nd trimester, you should definitely go outdoors use the camera as much as
you can!
plum, can't watit to see your upload some photos. I'm still not sure what we're doing for the xmas card. I'll probably just do LO with santa without us. I hate to be in the front of the camera too.
