I got it two years ago and its grown so much. Would it be ok to chop the top half off? I want to make it shorter. Its getting to tall that i have to lean it against the wall there. Help!

It's a schefflera! Or umbrella tree.

If it were my plant, I would probably cut the top part off. But I am kind of brutal to my plants that way!
