What sex did you "feel" you were having - and were you right?

Just curious if what we "feel" turns out to be more right than wrong? I don't know why, but I have always felt my first child would be a girl. I am 7 weeks along, and am sticking to my claim...I still feel it's going to be a girl. Did any of you have similar experiences and end up being right, or wrong?

I seem to do well with "feeling" friends too...I knew as soon as one of my friends told me she was pregnant that she would have a boy, and sure enough, she's having a boy!

I knew that I was having a girl.... 1st because I was breaking out really bad, 2nd because all my weight gain has been in my back, and 3rd because I just had the feeling.... We are so excited to have our little princess!

I completely and 100% thought it was a girl, so did DH.  So much that we had names, nursery styles, etc all picked out.

It's a boy.

Now I am totally thrilled that it's a boy and can't imagine it's a girl but for me, my intuition was COMPLETELY off!

I was convinced we were having a girl. Like Squill, I had names picked out too. I was utterly speechless when I saw we were having a boy. I even continued to have dreams that the little one was a girl.

Thankfully, my intuition has been much more accurate with friends' babies. ;-)

I always wanted to have a boy first... but when I was actually pregnant I had a strong feeling it was a girl.  Most people I talked to (family, friends, and strangers) all thought it was a girl (except DH & my brother).  I had names picked out, was thinking about the nursery, would look at the girl clothes in the store, online, etc.  Well, we found out it is a boy.  I had a similar reaction as abatty, I was speechless.  It really didn't matter to me what it was, but it was kind of a bummer because I really thought it was the other way.

We always wanted a boy. Since the very start I had a gut feeling that our little bambino was a boy and we were right.

I thought I was having a boy the last time and was right.  I have had 2 pregnancies and felt that way with both of them and they were boys!

Both DH and I thought it was a boy... Everyone else was guessing that it was a girl. Turns out that everyone else guessed right :)

I knew before we were even pregnant that we would have a boy.  Im pretty good with those "hunches" too. I could never pick out girls' names, never looked at girl stuff because I just KNEW it was a boy - and low and behold we're having a boy!

Brit, you know what's funny?  You described all the symptoms I had and all those symptoms I thought are for boys!!  My cousin, who had a little boy who turns one in December said that her doctor told her that because she was breaking out so bad that she must be having a boy - I was too - so that just made me think I was having a boy even more!  Im also carrying more in my back (hence the small baby bump I think) so I guess those wivestales aren't really on the money. ;)  Too funny!

I think we're having a girl...I don't know why--.  I somehow "knew" I was prego when I was driving home from work, and yep, I was right.  So, I guess I'll find out in January if I'm right about Smudgie being a girl.  DH wants a boy...but we both really just want healthy!
