So I have all the big stuff done bc I rushed to do it. Now what? 5 months to go and now Im just kindof waiting..what to do?

I'm getting together the little things, like gettins some of the BM gifts done, jewelery for me, diy stuff for the wedding, wedding bands...  Anything little that I can get done while I have time.  I know checklists say "you don't need to do this till march, april" whenver, but I feel better knowing I'm getting stuff done and then if something comes up closer to the day, I will have everything done and time to take on the little stuff!

Yeah well practice makes perfect :)  I need a few tries to make things look like they do belong in a wedding!

We just purchases our STD's.  Invitations & Programs are next.  I just have one more BM to pick her dress out, they have until end of December to order so the style & color will still be available.

Agreed with blustar  -Checklists can be way off in my opinion!

I suppose start on your details because that's the number one thing people complain that takes the longest.

I'm with ya.  I did the last major thing today which was book a dj.  Other than that, I;m twiddling my thumbs.  I am sure lots will come up though but it feels good knowing I won't be running around the month before.  Now I can forcus on working more to pay off all this wedding stuff!

I feel you guys!! We're just finishing up with our last vendor decision (cake!!) and I feel like I'm in the eye of the storm (for lack of a better phrase) where we've gotten past the major decisions and there's still a few months before another round of big stuff to do.

Right now, just gearing up for DIY projects and starting to buy little things (accessories, etc.)
