Ended up being an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured.

I was rushed into emergency and went into surgery within an hour. I am now one fallopian tube less =(

=======

a little history...

DH and I were consistently in and out of the hospital. I took about 3 ultra sounds and they couldn't find any signs of pregnancy but my blood levels still showed I was pregnant! I would ask Qs but they would just say it was the process of miscarrying. There would be painful nights where I would find myself in the fetal position crying of pain. I would call the advice nurse and they would pretty much tell me to take somemeds and sleep it off. WTH. It got to the point where I would demand an explanationof why I was bleeding for 2 months and a half! Why my pain is still on going. All they would say is to come back the following week to take another blood test to see if my levels went down.

Well, Wednesday at about 5pm, I got the WORST pains ever! With what the doctors said, I decided to stay and try and work through the pain. 3 hours past and I justcouldnt take it any longer. EFF WHAT THE DOCS SAID! I'm going in!!!

And so I did. More testings came back and what do you know! I had an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured hours ago!!

They transported me to a hospital where a gyno could assist. Before I knew it, I was in surgery. The docs removed my fallopian tube where the pregnancy took place. It was GINORMOUS!!

The doctor said I am lucky!! Normallyu ruptured ectopic pregnancies lead into bleeding to death after about 15-20 minutes if not corrected by surgery. In my case, hours went by and all my vitals remained normal. They said what saved me is that the blood puddled opposed to spreading which reduced the toxins from spreading as well. I told the doc that I was not lucky... just blessed.

So here I am... I've got a second chance at life! I can't complain.

PLEASE LADIES!!! If you ever feel like the docs are wrong, get a second opinion, a 3rd and a fourth! Make sure from the bottom of your heart that you trust and believe them. Do not be like me and just do what they say. If you don't agree, say it out loud and do something differently about it!

I am so sorry this happened :/  I am such a believer that if you know something is wrong and they're telling you otherwise, always get a 2nd opinion!  It never hurts anyone to do this.  So glad you're ok and I hope you're blessed with a healthy pregnancy after all you've been through!

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry.  I can't even imagine what you're going through.  I agree with dorkmeetsnerd....  I think you should consult a lawyer for a medical negligence/malpractice lawsuit.
