FI's parents have offered us their timeshare - we are looking @ Maui or the Caribbean.  Unfortunately, they don't allow for 2010 bookings yet.  GRR!!!!

Maybe we should check out AAA or Costco deals -  has any of you traveled using either?

  We wanted to go to Italy, but after I started talking to travelagents we cant get there and have fun for our $5000 budget. So I think were going to be Hawaii bound

We're going to try to book something by December.  Looking into a Sandals resort in St. Lucia.

We booked ours in August. We have our own villa with a pool in the countryside north of Rome so we are able to chill out have country walks and can easily get to Rome on the train for sightseeing. I can not wait as I have always wanted to go to Italy

we visited a travel agent a few weeks ago and decided on Riviera Maya... now we just have to go back and book :)

FI booked our HM in August - he got an amazing deal for nearly 2 weeks in Fiji and he jumped on it! he has a corporate travel agent that he used to secure all the details.

My FMIL offered us her timeshare too. We booked a place in Cozumel back in August. When we decided on Cozumel we started searching for places there based on the dates we wanted. Most places only had one room available, etc. so we just hurried to book something so that we didn't miss our opportunity.

Based on our experience with the timeshare, I can't believe it;s November and they aren't letting you book for 2010.

I know - I thought that was VERY strange too.   I will follow up with FI tomorrow. 

Looking to go to Greece but now its depending on whether FI can get the time off since he just started a new job :(
