When can you flip up the blusher on the veil?

So, I'm going to be wearing the blusher part of the veil on the walk down the aisle and I know that you normally don't get to remove it until the bride gets kissed BUT... Would it be weird if, when my dad gives me away and lifts up my veil to kiss me, if he just flipped it all the way over and left it? I don't want to have to deal with it during the rest of the ceremony with communion and such but I don't want to be committing some form of wedding sacrilege.

Is anyone wearing a blusher and what are you going to do?

That's what I'm doing. I'm having my dad pull it over, I def don't want that in my face the whole time as well.

Acutally thats what I plan on doing, so the veil is there for the walk down the isle and out of your way for the good stuff.

Okay, that settles it. I better have my dad practice ;)

Not weird at all....

The two choices you have are:
1) Dad or escort does it when he "gives you away"
2) DH does it before he "kisses the bride"

So, you're just fine with having Dad do it!
