Wedding is Sept 2, RSVP is 6 weeks prior - July 15th

So when should I mail the invites? The last week of June, first week of July????

Did you get your question answered on the boards the other day? I'd say by end of June!! Have you sent them yet?

Yes I did. My mom has the envelopes because she wrote out the addresses for us so once I get them from her I'll mail them. My goal is by Monday. When are you mailing yours?

We are mailing them out July 1st. We don't need the final count until 10 days before the wedding so August 1st is our rsvp by date. It will be so crazy when they're all mailed out! 

Our wedding day is September 22 and I'm hoping to have my invites in the mail by July 16th with a response deadline of August 13th.

Our reception coordinator is so laid back that he doesn't need our final count until about a week prior to our event.   That is the laid back easy part! 

Gosh I wish ours was like yours! Some vendors need a count as far as a month ahead! But then again I'd rather have everything figured out further ahead than stressing and scrambling last minute if I can help it.

I'm a little nervous about the rsvps! Everybody says people suck at rsvping!!!

I know, I'm not looking forward to that. That's why I left such a cushion of time so we can call everyone. My fsil has been warning me that FI's family sucks at rsvp'ing.

our wedding is sept 8th, and im aiming to get them out by the 2nd week of july! i forget already, but i think our rsvp date is aug 11th, which gives them 3wks to the day of our wedding. my venue is very flexible, my friend owns the spot, so i could literly call him the night before and change the head count if i needed to. the main point of my rsvps are so i know how many favors to make haha.

So I think I'm going to have to change our RSVP date to a week later. My mom had all of our envelopes because she wrote out the addresses and stamped them for us but I still haven't gotten them in the mail yet. Grrr. But when I do get them all I have to do is stuff them and send them out. I hope I remember to take a pic of me putting them in the mail!
