Just out of curiosity, where do you do most of your shopping? Do they double up on coupons?

I shop mostly at Stater Bros and Sprouts (for produce).

We do it at various grocery stores. None of the stores in Canada that I know of double up on coupons - which sucks because it'd save us a ton of money if they did! lol

Dillons (Kroger).

They have a shopper's card that you can use to get discounts on food, and you build points on it to get money off on gas. Every 100 points gets you $0.10 off per gallon, up to $1.00 off per gallon! You get extra points if you buy Kroger brand items. Prescriptions are 50 points each. You can get 2-4x points on gift cards--so for example if I know I'm going to go spend $75 at Best Buy, I swing by the grocery store and get a gift card first, and voila! 300 points, or 30 cents off per gallon.

Also (I was so excited about this!) I went and got a gift card to JC Penney's one weekend, and Penny's was having a sale--if you had a Penny's credit card you got an extra 5% off on your purchase, and they gave me that discount for having the gift card! So I got a discount toward gas AND cheaper clothes! Woo hoo!

We're up to $1.00 off per gallon right now--DH and I will probably go fill both of our cars up tonight.

Sorry, I know I'm way too excited about this. ;)

SOCAL: Von's (Safeway), Whole Foods, Sprouts, Trader Joe's

I mainly shop at Publix and sometimes our local farmers market, we don't have a Whole Foods - I would shop there if we did!

No grocery stores here double coupons :-(

hannaford or price chopper and the farm stands right now...and as long as I can!

In NYC: Morton-Williams.  But I honestly find the groceries stores gross out here.  Occasional trip to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's.

Out West: 99 Ranch, Safeway.  The occasional trip to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's.

In North FL: Publix, Fresh Market, and our local farmer's markets. Thinking about joining our new co-op in town, to buy local produce and meats. Nobody here does double coupons, that I am aware of.

JC downtown co-ops, farmers markets for veggies and fruits. A&P for the other stuff. Whole Foods if I'm desperate bc I find it grossly overpriced. Fresh Direct if I can get discounts and plan ahead. Only A&P takes coupons but I'm terrible with that stuff.

I'm in Canada too, and coupons aren't a huge thing here (unfortunately).

I try to buy some stuff from an online organic store (they deliver to our neighbourhood every Thursday).  I buy chicken products directly from a local farm.  I hit up our grocery stores, and I love Costco!  I buy huge things of olive oil, vanilla extract, etc from Costco and since I bake & cook frequently it works out well for us.
