I have seriously been planning my wedding since i was about 14...i have a giant stack of wedding magazines at my moms house and i have a little composition book with pictures taped in!!! But i think it all started when my Future Fiance's sister got married. I was a senior in HS and i got to go dress shopping with her (AMAZING!)

After i went away to college i found a part time job at Palazzo's Flagship salon in Chicago, the designers are hilarious and working with brides was so fun!

ok, ok, all girls like weddings...but i was like ready to plan my own about 6-8 months ago...as a senior in college i started feeling like i was ready, i mean if you read my bio Sean and i have been together over 7 years! I know we are getting married...but it was always like "one day in the future when we're married and have kids..." well that future better start happening! I feel this crazy biological timelime happening...and baby i am ready to get the ball rolling!

So yeah...Sean (FFI) and his sister and my mom know I am planning :) It's not really a secret...i'll show Sean something and he'll give his opinion on it. I swear, he assumes that b/c i'm "planning" now that once we become engaged we can get married like immediately-- he has no understanding that things take time...booking a venue, ordering dresses, planning flowers/decoration, etc. etc. He has already said he hates long engagements, "why get engaged and not get married for a few years, that's stupid!"

So he said "i bet there is a forum for that stuff" referring to wedding planning, and i found PW :) and now he's happy b/c i get to plan all i want and get these great ideas...but i'm still waiting for that ring...and he knows it ;)

Yay Sean, for leading us to you!!!!  Hopefully he will lead you to your ring, soon! 

My brother, and FFI know.  I think only my brother knows the extent of it.  I think my FFI would laugh. Ha!

Everyone knows to an extent that I am planning. I have been for years but for real planning since June. I know that I am getting my ring next month ;)

My planning isn't really a secret.  His mom even introduces me to people as her future daughter-in-law.  We haven't set an exact date yet, but we're planning on sometime next summer, most likely June.  We're just waiting on him being able to save up enough to buy my ring.  He just dropped a big down payment on his first house, so the savings are kind of drained right now.

My whole fam and his pretty much know about my obsession. His mom will say, "So are you still thinking the country club for the reception?" haha He maybe doesn't know to the extent, but I do talk about it with his mom and sister ect. His parents also have been introducing me as their soon to be daughter inlaw for quite sometime. I have a secret folder in my old email specifically for wedding stuff I"ve been hoarding over the years! hehe I don't think I really became obsessed til his brother got engaged 2 yrs ago and married last year. I was very involved with his fiance in planning their wedding, so maybe that's what set me off lol! And my poor sis and mom having to hear about it... Jeez!
