Who Has Hair that Won't Hold Curls?

I wasn't sure if I should post, but my hair will not hold curls anymore. Well I not sure what to do.

I have baby fine hair and what's worse is how soft my hair is. I found for me to be able to keep my curls longer I have to do the following.

1.  day old hair works better than freshly washed
2.  root lifter, very little: too much and it falls
3.  extra hold hairspray
4.  NO CONDITIONER ... it weighs down hair too
5.  very hot curling iron, try pinning curls up to cool before letting them fall

Too many products in the hair will cause hair to go flat and the curls undo. Limit where the product goes. I also like to flip my head and spray. Stay head flipped for about 1 min. Sounds strange but it helps.

I hear extentions help a bit to keep a fuller look. it also helps when curled together with your natural hair. I haven't tried it though. Too expensive for me!!

I have super heavy hair and never holds curls. Until I started curling it with a flat iron... its a special technique. Now i can hold curls for 3 days WITHOUT A DROP of hairspray! Seriously works, try it.

thats my hair..my hairstylist took 2 hours doing curling my hair..that only part that curls was the side bangs..so we did an updo hairdo..

My hair is like that too, but my fiance's sister used a wand on it and it lasted ask of a cinco de mayo party AND was still curly the next morning after sleeping on it! I had tried curlers and curling irons and none worked like the tapered wand.
