Do you have experience with alibaba?

Yes I do, that's why I'm asking where they are coming from :)

In my experience in working in the buying offices for a pretty well known home furnishings/home decor store, I can say that nickel plated items coming from India are going to be heavier and beadwork is going to be higher quality than China.  However, pricing out of India is way more costly.  Its not knocking the country, its just what raw materials are more in abundance and their way of manufacturing that drives the costs up and down. 

I don't know a lot of vendors on Alibaba, only that this is how I found the vendor that we brought the bling candleholders to PW from.  I found them on Alibaba!  Do they have a lot of scams on there now?  I must've been lucky if yes, because the vendor we worked with was amazing.  They are based in china.  The bling holders I had them design for us had a very low cost, but had I had a sky's the limit budget, I would've used the 1st vendor I convo'd who was based out of India, because the weight and beadwork was higher quality than the other vendor out of China.
