Why did you and your fiancee chose april as the month to get married and was it your first pick as far as the month goes?

April was not my fiance and mine's first choice.  We initally wanted November 2009 but since we are having an outdoor ceremony we figured it would be too cold.  We then decided to move our wedding date to May however my fiance's aunt (who is basically the matriarch of their family) is planning to travel out of the country that month so we decided to move it to April.

Hahaha long story short it worked out because its just warm enough to have an outdoor wedding but just enough time before "wedding season" so we got good pricing from our vendors. Woot!!

i always wanted a spring wedding...but i didn't want my wedding to be the same month as my birthday.  and pretty much 4 +2 +4 = 10 (04.24.10).  crazy?  yes, i know.  plus the 24th day is the same day as our anniversary in september.  i always thought i wanted to get married on our anniversary date but we would have to wail until 2011 for that to happen.  can't wait any longer!!!

It was the first month available at the venue I wanted. =)

We also Wanted a Spring Wedding...April was suppose to be the time he'd be back from Iraq, It's his BDAY Month. It's a happy, NEW, Fresh Month...So we went with it..the 3rd is Easter weekend.;)

April doesn't hold any significance for us. It was more or less the only time we could get all our family's out to Hawaii. Lots of schedules to juggle (work, school, travel) so this time just worked best for us- and gave us enough time to plan.

Although, that being said-- only 201 days left!! :)

April is default.  I wanted October, but we didn't get engaged until January of this year so that was too close.  I wanted May of 2010 but it is a ratings month for my FI and he works weekends.  They wouldn't give him the days off.  Seriously.

April was a month that just worked. I have always always always wanted a June wedding but he and I area planning to move to Japan to teach english and that would have only given us a month before we left. Also april is our 6 month mark since we started dating in october. So we will be married 6 1/2 years after we started dating. I wanted the 24th but the 17th was the only free weekend where I wanted the venue! 

But any date I marry him will be the happiest day! 

My Fiance and I initially wanted September, however the prices were very expensive.  The place where I am getting married considers April as an Off-season and was a bit cheaper.  So we decided April 24th is at the end of the month and would be perfect!

Originally we were going to get married in Hawaii when my family was having our Family Reunion.  However, since all of FI's family live in Minnesota, it was going to be quite expensive of a trip for us to ask them to all come out.  So we decided on a Destination Wedding.  We just kept the same month ~ April.  It just works for everyone.  It was a year out and still have everyone enough time to request vacation time since the cruise is a Monday thru Friday cruise!  :)
