Personally, I gave the first one 9 out of 10. It was kinda predictable, but still very good. I gave the second one, 5 out of 10. I
was disappointed. It was good, but it wasn't earth shattering.
First of all didn't we learn in Soul Food, you never let your ex, help your new current man...clearly she didn't see that movie.
I did love how Tyler was paying attention to
his wife...date, MARCH 8th!! I love it...they do pay attention. Not all, but the ones that really care do. It was nice to see that their family grew!!
I loved Janet and the golf club!! She clearly
gave Tiger's wife some lessons!! LOL!!I felt she reached to a deep dark place for that role, but I still think, she should stick to singing and dancing...what she does better. Is it just me, or did anyone else walk out feeling like, Perfect Patty,
killed her son and her husband!!
I couldn't stand Marcus and Angela. I mean, they went from bad to worse...who yells in an airport, without SECURITY coming and taking your
butt off somewhere. Who goes on to a TV set yelling and screaming...come on, that just wasn't real in my eyes. I didn't like the idea of counting his miles to work, to Keisha's house...her character needs REHAB. But Marcus still is, and always will be
a cheating dog...you know what i'm saying!!
I did love how they showed Sherriff Troy, struggling. That's realistic. It's not a perfect life for every family.
Mike getting cancer was just KARMA.
Did anyone else feel like the ROCK...of all people him...i don't know...Boris Kodjoe...Shemar Moore...Idris Elba...Hill Harper...heck even
Terrance Howard...I'm just not into the rock...so maybe that's just personal...
