Will you be my bridesmaid?

Hey ladies ! I'm trying to come up with a cute n simple way to ask my beasties to be my bridesmaids.

How did you ask your bridesmaids to be your bridesmaids (lol)? I'm excited to hear from you!!

I know it is not exactly the same. .

Well, for my sister I wrapped a measuring sppon set and I said that no one else measures up to this task better than you. . . will you officiate my wedding

I also gave her an embroidered handkerchief that matched mine.

My theme for my wedding was based on how my love story began with my DH - roses. I gave each one of my bridesmaid's a bouquet of roses and a note that read, "What you have brought into my life has blossomed as beautiful as these roses. I would be honored if you would be my bridesmaid."

I love the bouquet of roses idea! That is always a wonderful gift. Roses are a definite win.

I made each bridesmaid (and my maid-of-honor) a ring box... I bought plain wooden boxes at A.C. Moore and painted them with a metallic black paint.  Each of the boxes had a gold clasp closure and I didn't like the way it looked so I removed it but then you could see the holes where the screws holding it in had been so I painted a wooden heart pink and put it over top to cover the holes.  Then I cut a piece of cardstock that was the same color as the bridesmaid dresses, to fit inside the lid of the box... on the cardstock, I wrote "I couldn't say 'I do' without you... will you be my bridesmaid?" I cut a piece of posterboard to fit inside the box and cut a slit in it so I could insert a ring (the ring was just a cheap wedding party favor that I found at another craft store).  I found blingy rhinestone letters that I attached to the top of the box, each one was the first letter of their first name. 

Once I gave them the ring box and they accepted, I handed them a Bridesmaid Box.  On the front of the box was a picture(s) of them and I... it had their name above the picture and "Will You Be My Bridesmaid?" below it.  On the front of the box I had "Brian" on one side and "Nikki" on the other side, with 03-24-13 (our wedding date) in the middle. 

Inside the lid of the Bridesmaid Box was a pretty piece of paper listing everything that was in the box and giving an explanation for each thing. Everyone loved it! 

i love the ideas! i ended up getting a piece of jewelry with their favorite color and accompanying it with a card to tell them how special they are to me and how much it would mean to me if they were in my wedding. They all loved it! I have one more to send off and then that will be it! IM SO EXCITED!!! and @NikkiJinMD33 your idea is awesome too!! so well thought out!

A lot of gals on here got really clever and cute. Uhlease I remember being one of them. I just simply asked them all individually in person. Good luck! :)
