Has anyone diy a wine box before?? We are doing it instead of a unity candle but Im not sure where or how to make the box for the wine and letters..any suggestions would be wondeful!

I had found this picture quite a while ago and thought that it was something that we might do.  I am not sure exactly where I found it though.

The couple put love letters that they had written to each other into a box with a bottle of wine and nailed shut. If they ever have any serious problems in their marriage, they are to open the box, drink the wine together, and read their love letters.

Thats what I want to do, and all the ones that I google are coming up like that, however the one I saw first was with a lock and key. I dont really want to have to hammer something at my wedding.lol

Maybe just find a long box and paint your info on and put some nice fabric inside.

oooooooh I am all about a wine ceremony...my FI and I were looking for something to in essence, fill some time during our secular ceremony that wasn't sand or unity candle, or whatever.
