So I was looking at some other blogs, not PW, and a woman was ranting about how interracial and intercultural forums are 'stupid' and unnecessary because every family in the US is interracial now. Mer! Word! I wanted to
set her down and explain patiently (not) that it is NOT the same for her, married to an American, and for me, married to a Mexican. Though we live in the US, we go to a Hispanic church and mostly have Hispanic friends. We live in the Hispanic
culture within the US. NOT the same. I have had some adjustments, and some not very easy, but we adjust to each other and our differing cultures because we are married, and we love each other! He didn't become AMERICAN when he moved
to the US.... mer. Word.... Why are people so rude in their ignorance? Maybe she's just jealous!..... It made me very grateful for the support and the PW spirit, you know what I mean?
