I'm extremely nervous about showing my BIG arms in front of everyone. Am I alone? I've already bought my dress so there's really no turning back. I didn't find anything pretty with sleeves. Am I overreacting?

I think that if someone is busy focusing on your arms during your wedding, then they shouldn't be there. Most people who attend weddings already know and love you, and will think you are a beautiful, big arms or not. But, if you are seriously uncomfortable, you could always fet a bolero or a shaw or something.

Honestly my arms are my worst feature and over my big belly and huge thighs i am most self conscious about them; however when i tried dresses on with sleeves and off the shoulders I felt ugly. So try them on and whatever one you feel comfortable in is the one you should get

Thanks guys!

And Rye, I didn't think of it that way. The room will be filled with people who know and love me no matter what and that's a very comforting thought.

I totally agree with Rye! I felt the same way especially in a strapless gown. But I was reassured that my arms aren't as big to other as they seem to me.

a post that I can totally relate to. My arms are sooo nasty... rolls basically. but ive never been totally embarassed by them. i wear tank tops all day.  But now that my wedding is coming up im all worried. but then I came to realize. I am big. there is no way to hide it. its there. My man loves me and he hugs me and he kisses my arms and thats who I am getting married to . so it shouldnt matter but it does. Imma start using my exersise bands tonite

LOL! I've been using my exercise bands too!

I recently lost 65lbs and my arms are starting to deflate and they're hanging like bat-wings. I really get nervous about how they'll photograph...but I'm goint to work them as much as possible between now and October...It'll be fine.

This is a topic that i can totally relate too ladies...

I have been looking at dresses & all of them are either strapless, sleeveless etc. The ones with sleeves just look bad on me so i ended up decided on a sleeveless dress.  My sister told me the same thing. This is who we are, our Men love us for who we are, although we are self conscious about what others may think we have to just ignore it all.

I too have been using exercise bands plus i will tan a bit... =)

I think arms are the thing that most of us worry about..I know I do..but..I think that big arms arent really THAT bad when you consider the other things we could have lol :S aslong as your arms are clean and well cared for...who cares that theyre slightly on the large size? thats how Ive started to view it anyway :)

If it REALLY bothers you then there are solutions, work out ur arms, wear a bolero 2 cover the widest part, tanning also helps with the look of bigger arms :)

Its your day, people will be admiring you with big arms or not. Enjoy it! :)
