Okay i posted this in the main forum but i just wanted to make sure i get this message to the winter brides, see this picture? it's called a space heater, it will save your life on your wedding day, it is 25 dollars at biglots.

HAHA I wish they had a hand held one. I get cold very easly so in the winter I wear like three shirts to keep warm. (sad) Our wedding is it december I have to stop and ask myself what was I thinking lol.

Yes, definitely could be a life save, but you have to be super careful around them b/c they can start fabric and other stuff on fire.  I figure that I'll be a little nervous so I'll be a little on the warm side and I have a fur wrap and a pair of gray uggs to wear outside and when I start to get cold.  I will put on a winter coat if it is below 35 that day- I know it will look silly, but getting frostbite will be worse.

Actually these things are very safe now, the one that i bought at biglots has an automatic shut off if it gets too hot and you can't really catch anything on fire unless you stuck something directly into it, the heating element in clear on the inside, it dosen't get hot to the touch on the outside. also if you knock it over it automatically turns off.

Our wedding venue has a huge gas fireplace that will most likely be on all day long.  One of the reasons we chose our venue!
