I love steals.

My idea of a real steal is spray paint bottom of shoes red, and add shelac to protect the paint. You would not believe the number of people who assume its the real deal.

Are you serious IdoAgain? I didn't even know you could do that!

Yes, you need to MASK off the whole shoe to do it!

OK all you ladies who LOVE Louboutin - Here is my DIY Trick.

Please use NEW shoes it will work better, but it will also work on well worn.

Extra fine sand paper

Plastic wrap

Painters BLUE Masking tape

Get a GREAT nail polish in that famous Red an extra long wear or a Red Laquer Paint from hardware store

LIGHTLY and I do mean LIGHTLY sand bottom of the shoe. This will help the paint adhere.

MASK off anyarea you do not want paint. Use the Painters BLUE tape and Plastic wrap to cover front top and back of shoe.

Leave the shoes to dry 48 hours

apply second coat and wait 72 hours to allow full adhesion.

You can use a clear spray can shellac to help protect paint let dry another 48 hours

Now you are ready to go to town!
