What do you gals want/need in your kitchen?  I have a long list of wants but am always looking to learn about products I might not know about--which will likely only make my list grow longer. ;)

Currently, wanting a fondue set.  Not sure which yet, though.  This might seem promising:

I just want a good set of knives... too much to ask?!

Ditto in the fondue set and a panini press Fi says if he gets his promotion he's getting me a nice one :)

I think we got a fondue set for our wedding... but don't ask me where it is! Whoops!

This is dumb but I kind of need a sifter! Every once in a while I hit a recipe (like tonight) where it wants me to sift ingredients together and... no sifter. I don't know that it makes that much of a difference but still, I like to do things right! ;) I don't know if that counts as a gadget, though.

One gadget I'm glad that I have (and wonder how I lived without for so long!) is my food processor. Even if the only thing I ever used it for was shredding cheese, it's worth it's weight in... cheese... Freshly grated cheese is 103920398434 times better than bagged in almost every instance. :)

LOL. You made me google this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20101121113525AAP3gOL

Ooo. Luckily, we already have a food processor and I love it too!  It just so much easier to shred anything in it.  We also like grinding our own meats so that we know what goes in it (as opposed to the suspect blends you might get at the market).

I would like a little food chopper, I don't want a big processor though.

I really need a new cheese grater because I snapped mine last night!!!

Hmmm, here I go:

I love our wine opener!  I don't know what kind it is, but it pulls the cork out like a knife through butter.

Waffle maker!  We use this a lot more than I thought we would!  And since the recipe makes more than we can eat in a sitting, we freeze the rest for easy breakfasts on other days.

Williams-Sonoma has fun, random stuff.  DH love jalapeno poppers, so I bought a special tray they had for them, and of course the jalapeno corer.

I have two pairs of kitchen scissors - one for things like meat, and another for herbs.

LOT'S of Tupperware!!  Gladware is not the same.

The only thing I really want is more Le Creuset!

Yes! I need me a wine opener like that.  I basically cannot drink wine when DH isn't around--which might not be a bad thing--because we only have that classic jam-against-the-bottle type of opener.  I'm always scared I'm going to shatter the bottle or something.

We have two Le Creuset dutch ovens but I haven't gotten around to using them!  Macy's had a great deal a few months back.  I'll let you know when I spot a good deal again. ;)

LOL SanFran I just gave away a fondue set...I would have shipped it to you!!!  FREE just to get rid of it!  I guess i am not a fondue kind of girl!

I got a lot of my wish items but I would give anything for a double oven...to have everything come out warm and on time ahhhhh

And SanFran- I have the best recipe for a beef stew with ale if you are interested....yummmm...and I am not a beef kind of girl!  Great for the le crueset!!!

We have that fondue set! I would like more Le Creuset as well...we have good Wustof knives and a food processor and an immersion blender and nice Williams-Sonoma bakeware....and of course our kitchenaid! It's so nice to be able to make just about anything and be equipped for it! Ah, the joys of being grown up!! :)
