I've never seen anyone do Hershey kisses like this, I just thought it was easier than the usual labels on the bottom. And I've never seen tears of joy tissues folded napkin style. (My real ones will have a sprig of rosemary, not a dead weed - it was winter at the time) And although it wasn't an original idea, I don't see too many brides covering old shoes with same fabric from which dress will be made. That's all I have so far.

I've never seen a chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy) built on the frame of a portable gazebo before.  However, with us living in DC, the ceremony near Boston, and the reception back in DC, it made sense.

Ok not that original, but I came across a vendor on etsy who did cootie catchers/fortune tellers for weddings.

So I found a template online, modified it, and made them into my programs.

I think my best diy will be my place cards. I am doing an all paper flower wedding so of course my place cards will be paper flowers. :) I plan on making individual buds for each guest. When I complete a few I will post some pics.

Whoa, MES!!! You wrote an entire program on how to do that! Thats AWESOME! Go you! But I know a lot of brides on a budget would be very interested on how you did that. If you have time you should submit directions as an article!!!

Thanks.

In order to do something like that music program, you'd need to know some kind of computer programming language. I used Visual Basic 6 and the windows media player control.

What I should do is write a generic type program that lets brides add their own playlists. And I would, but not sure it would run on Vista operating system. I don't have a computer with that OS, so couldn't test it.
