The assembly of Baraat (the men who march together to greet the women and the bride) took place at 5:00pm on Sunday, March 21, the day of the ceremony. The men were turbaned on land and followed in procession down the stairs to boats on Lake Pichola, which would take them to the Jai Mala ceremony at Jagmandir Palace.
