The cake tasted great and looked great, except I was supposed to have a square cake stand (or so DH and I both thought), but it came on a flat piece of tin foil-y covered something. Both DH and I remember talking about it at our meeting and my notes indicated that the price included a $50 deposit for the stand. My coordinator questioned the delivery person, to no avail. I emailed them for an explanation, and they did return my call. Apparently, you have to ASK for the cake stand. And since I confirmed my order twice, and didn’t mention the cake stand, they didn’t think I wanted one. DH and I both thought it came with the cake. If I had received the cake information sheet they were supposed to have mailed me when I sent in the deposit, I might have noticed that it didn’t include a cake stand. Lesson learned… ALWAYS get everything in writing. The groom's cake was a hit (it was a surprise), but I didn't taste it... We ate on the wedding cake for a week!

The food was great, the set up was great, the staff was great. They even had to pitch in and help my coordinator set up things when my florist was two hours late. Fortunately, I had already planned on tipping them well.

All I can say is that she is worth at least twice what I paid her. Everyone loved working with her (vendors, family members, etc.) and she kept things together when they started going so wrong with the florist. She was a godsend to me, and I cannot recommend her enough. She was always one step ahead of anticipating my needs and was always smiling, I never noticed her there until I needed something, and she was there when I turned around with whatever it was I needed!

They were always very nonchalant when I called. Two days before the ceremony I called to confirm how many pedicabs we wanted and at what time. I left a message, and he called back and left me a message saying he received the message and he had us down, and asked that I call back if I had time, but he had me confirmed. Well, I didn't get a chance to call back, and at 9:45 when they weren't there, my coordinator was on the phone tracking them down. At first he said I never confirmed, then she basically told him to get his a** and his bikes over there right then. They were there about 20 minutes later. There was some confusion, and rather than DH and I departing first, our guests started taking them to the bar we were all meeting at. We ended up having to wait for a return bike and were the last to leave our wedding. I also think they were overpriced. We had to pay to have them come to us and then still expected the normal tips.

He and his wife were great to work with. He came to my rehearsal dinner to get to know "the players". He was early on my wedding day, and other than the posed photographs, neither DH or I knew he was there - he was very unobtrusive.

She caused me SO much stress. They were still setting up my ceremony area after guests had already started arriving and taking their seats and while we were doing the ceremony, they were behind us in the house finishing setting up. There were things that were very wrong. We discussed no less than 4 times how much I didn’t want orchids because I used them for my first wedding. I asked for calla lily corsages for the moms. Imagine my surprise to see them wearing orchid corsages! There were things that were missing all together, things that looked terrible, etc. I emailed her, and received a very short explanation with a promise to send a more detailed one later. A week later I got one, which wasn’t very informative with an offer a small refund. About three weeks later I received the promised refund. Please keep in mind that I had EVERYTHING written down in this contract, and it still did not prevent this mess.

We fell in love with the house the first time we saw it, so... they do have restrictions, so if you are willing to work around that, you should be fine.

Laura has been my hairdresser for a couple of years and just switched to another salon. She had been right around the corner from my house, but moved to a salon way on the other side. She ended up taking the day off and coming to my house to do hair for 5 of us. She was quick and everyone loved their hair, and she was too cheap. I paid her extra, and should still pay her more!!! Even my daughters (who typically don't like how their hair turns out) loved their hair, and mine stayed all night!

We bought both rings from my family jeweler. We got a good price on my ring, but not so good of a price on DH's ring - found it online around 1/2 what I paid. But they have been so good to me for everything else that I won't quit going there.

We wanted beautiful, simple yet elegant invitations that set the tone for our citrus theme. We found them at Divine Ink, and were very pleased with the price and overall quality!
