We decided at the last minute that the bridesmaids would wear gloves, and this was the second place we looked at that had the sort of gloves we wanted. I would say that the lady who worked there was nice, but I think she also lied to me about gloves. She said they no longer make gloves in teal color, which I know is not true. We all wanted white gloves, so we got them and left.

My husband and I arrived late, and a little drunk, but I honestly think it was one of the nicest places I had ever stayed! It was even better because my friends had gone in sooner and decorated it with fake flower petals and a bottle of champagne and orange juice. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was really nice! It’s a romantic place, and I was sad that we could only stay one day.

We knew this was a good limousine service because they were the same company that many of our friends had used for their wedding. They had great customer service, and they were really nice people. They don’t stick out in my mind because their service was so perfect, I can’t think of any faults. Clean cars, nice drivers, right on time. Perfect!

A co-worker told me that we could get free postcards and that we could use them as our save the date cards. It was cheap, the postcards were super cute, and those people who got them loved them! The only problem was that lots of people said that they never got them. I think people are more likely to through out a postcard, or think that a postcard is junk mail. Maybe the better choice would have been envelopes and cards.

We had a big groom’s dinner the night before the wedding, and it was held at my parent-in-laws place. We rented extra tables and chairs and a tent, with linens and extra dishes. We thought it would be simple, but it was beautiful. Everything was nice quality, nothing looked cheap or used. It was a beautiful start to the wedding weekend. My whole family agreed that the staff at Spatola’s was amazing. They are nice and professional, and very helpful. And I think it was much nicer eating at my in-laws house rather than going to a restaurant.

I love the Paper Box, and I loved my invitations! They made them just the way that I wanted them to look, and they were great on suggesting where the words should be, and word choice. I would have to say that it caused a bit of a problem because my best friend from college bought her cards there the year before, and I pretty much got the exact same cards. She was upset, but I think she should think of it as a compliment.

It was very hard picking a hotel for our guests. We had some who were coming in from out of town, and we had others that just wanted to stay at a hotel. I think the hotel was nice, it was expensive for what it was, but then it was also during the summer. We reserved a block of rooms, but I don’t think that saved much money. My husband and I prefer to find our own accommodations when we travel to different cities for weddings.

This sounds sort of morbid, but this was the florist we would always go to for funeral flowers, so they were very happy when we said we wanted flowers for a wedding! They always have amazing centerpieces, they love flowers and they will and have never given us wilted or brown flowers. My bouquet, which my mother chose for me, was beautiful thought a little to traditional for my taste. This is my family’s florist, and I couldn’t see us going anywhere else for flowers.

I was going to buy my wedding dress here but changed my mind at the last minute. We did buy the bridesmaids dresses here. They have a nice selection, they had lots of dresses that were very trendy and in vogue for weddings, which was great to see. They also had a really nice changing room. We felt like we could relax in the store, and that it wasn’t as hectic as other bridal stores. The dresses were great there, and they also have a nice selection of jewelry, too.

There were several Sears stores we visited, but I think we bought the dresses at the Sears at Medley Center. We bought the flower girl dresses at Sears. Once we saw the prices of how much they were charging for dresses at actual bridal shops, my mother and aunts put their foot down and said that it was outrageous to spend that much on a child’s dress. They actually made a sales girl at a bridal store feel bad! But in the end we paid a fraction of the price for two flower girl and one ring girl dress, and the quality was as good and in pictures the girls looked adorable.
