Kate Connolly was the photographer that I used for my May 23, 2009 wedding, and I must say she is wonderful! She took such amazing pictures of me and my husband, family, bridal party, guests, the ceremony, reception, etc. She is so skilled and talented at what she does. Kate is upbeat, energetic, professional and on top of things. We had given her a list of the pics we wanted and the special moments we wanted captured...she remembered it all. She was very unobtrusive; you didn't even realize that she was there. She is also very artistic, in that she didn't just capture the standard pictures, but she caught moments that I wouldn't have thought of - but were so beautiful. Family, friends and guests have been raving about her pictures! I even had one friend tell me that every time she looks at my photos, she said it reminds of her an InStyle Wedding shoot :)! I am so glad that we chose her because the pictures are such an important aspect of the wedding. Those are the memories you'll have forever....I would highly recommend Kate - you will be so pleased beyond your wildest dreams!!

If you want a couture dress but don't want to pay the couture price, then you should get your dress made by Maria and Patty of Monaco Couture. They designed the wedding dress of my dreams for my May 23, 2009 wedding. After visiting 13 different bridal salons, I was beginning to panic because I have very discerning tastes of what I wanted in a wedding dress, and couldn't find anything I liked. That's when I stumbled into Maria's dress shop. She had wedding dresses for sale, but also designed them. I had an idea of what I wanted and she told me that she could make me my dress. In fact, she and Patty were able to make my dream dress a reality!! They were very patient and listened to me about what I wanted. The awesome thing about having my dress made, was that if I changed my mind about something, there was still time to make changes since it was being made and I wasn't buying it off the rack. Patty is also the best seamstress I have ever seen in my life. She is a perfectionist when it comes to detail, she can make anything and she does it well. Maria and Patty are both very skilled designers, and they also really care about making sure that you love your dress. They were very responsive to my needs throughout the process.

If you go into Maria's store, you'll see many of the dresses she designed and you will honestly think that you were viewing wedding dresses at NY fashion week. I am serious future brides, you CAN have the perfect dress that you've seen in the fashion magazines or that you've created in your mind, but you don't have spend a fortune in order to get the dress!! :) I would highly recommend Monaco Couture as a place to have your dream wedding dress made in to a reality!

Hotcakes Bakes provided our wedding favors for our May 23rd 2009 wedding; the cookies were delicious!! The flavors we chose were devil's food and chocolate chip. They even decorated the favor boxes with ribbon and sticker labels that I had given them. It was so awesome to have their help with that step, because it was one less thing that I had to think about! Talya was very nice, helpful and coordinated our order. She made sure that everything was perfect for us. The cookie favors were a big hit at the wedding. In fact, guests were asking us if we had extra cookies that they could take home with them. Even now, my husband and I still stop by the bakery to pick up some goodies!

Joeleen made a wonderful cake for my May 23, 2009 wedding! Her decorations on the cake were so beautiful and classy and the cake tasted sooooo good! We had two flavors because we couldn't decide between the red velvet and the chocolate with oreo filling, which we had tried at the cake tasting. The cake was very tasty and moist - my husband and I were very pleased and our guests loved the cake. Joeleen is such a sweetheart and very easy to work with. During the planning process, I changed one of my colors and she was very flexible and amenable to my needs. She also called me a week before just to make sure there weren't any last minute changes to the cake. Her prices are very reasonable too and she gives you a free cake on your anniversary so that you don't have to save the top layer in the freezer. I would recommend every bride get their cake from A Sweet Design!!

Tricia Dahlgren of Stacy Porras Wedding Consulting is the best wedding coordinator ever!! She was our DOC for our May 23rd 2009 wedding; I must say she is terrific. She is very sweet, professional and is highly skilled at what she does. We didn't have to worry about ANYTHING that day. She coordinated our wedding rehearsal which helped it run very smoothly, and then she arrived early the next day to coordinate our big day. She and her team were on top of everything. All of the day's events were on schedule, and the reception area was set up as we had hoped it would be. Megan who was part of her team that day, stayed with me while I got ready - calmed my nerves, helped me get into my dress, held my dress so that it wouldn't get dirty and made sure that I always had everything I needed. They were both so responsive and caring - you can tell that they love what they are doing. They made it clear by their actions that their primary role is to make sure that the wedding is run efficiently and that you don't have to worry. My husband and I couldn't have had a special of a day without their support. I felt like a princess on my wedding day, and part of this had to do with the fact that they took care of everything for us. They even decorated our hotel room and made sure that it was cleaned up, so that after the event we wouldn't have to come back to a messy room!! I would highly recommend Tricia to every bride out there - you will be extremely pleased that you chose her!!

Damon Tedesco is the best DJ in Los Angeles. He was our DJ for our May 2009 wedding; we were very pleased with his services. He listened to me and my husband's musical preferences and played precisely what we wanted to hear. He was not cheesy or wanting to speak into the microphone every chance he got. He is very easy to work with, responsive and doesn't have his own agenda. He is very professional and laidback at the same time. We met with him 2 times before the wedding, just to go over and refine the details for the wedding. We knew we were in good hands with Damon and didn't have to worry. Basically, he rocked the dance floor in a very tasteful way, and the dance floor was packed all night long. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ for their wedding!!
