We had a huge wedding, so we needed a place that could accomodate us. We also wanted to have a dessert reception in the lobby after the ceremony for the hundreds of people we invited (we had a seperate family and wedding party reception off-site.)
Woodside had a coordinator that made sure the stage and sanctuary we set up properly. Our main complaint was that they would not let us have a slide show or let the photographer come anywhere near the front of the stage (basically the balcony was the only spot allowed!) However, we have since found out that they have changed these rules and allow both, probably as a result of out constant protest! Anyway, no worries, all campuses are wonderful spots to get married, whether you want a small or large wedding spot.

We ordered custom M & M's from the company's website and were very pleased. My mother was sad that the order was slightly different than she thought (no typos or mistakes, just the layout was different than she thought,) so she called and they sent her new ones for free, each cany printed with 2 lines instead of 2 different prints. People loved the personal touch of having special ordered M&M's, and we did too.

My neice bought a beautiful little white dress at Talbots (less than $50,) and it was a great deal! She looked really adorable and it was a great alternative to buying a dress at a bridal shop.

Considering that my husband and I each had 6 friends standing up with us, we were very pleased with the price and the quality of the flowers in the wedding. Kate is very easy to work with. I am not really into flowers, but she was able to feel my creative vibe and we came up with something kinda different that I think showed my personality well. Keep in mind that some florists want to get you to spend a lot of money and order the flowers that they want you to order. Do your research and make sure you have flowers in mind that you really love! And you will love Kate!

I could not have been happier with the photographer! They are very artistic and classic, having very fresh and innovative ideas. If you are not photogentic, definately consider Arising Images. They will make you very relaxed and comfortable. Also, I cannot tell you how many people gush over our album, which is a masterpiece! If you are more artistic and want photos you can really treasure, Arising Images is the right fit for you!

I never dreamed of being a bride in a big poofy white dress. In fact, once I realized I was getting married, I dreaded picking out a dress. It was kind of a stressful process for me, but once I found Arena, I felt at ease. They have beautiful, well-made dresses, and quality is important to me. My dress had a one-of-a-kind feel, because Arena did not have exactly all of the same dresses that smaller stores had. I also did not feel like I was out of my league. The women who work there can be sort of flighty, but if you get a good one, you are set! Also, when you buy your dress there they do all the alterations there for free, which was a big relief since I am rather small and knew that I would have to get several things altered. Check it out!

Filipas provided us with a great, no-worries rehearsal dinner. Typically rehearsal dinners are later in the evening but we had to have ours before the rehearsal itself. This was no problem for the restaurant and even though it was prime dinner time, we did not feel neglected or that the food was under par. Everything was well-presented and the wait staff was kind and courteous. We recommend the food and the service.

I can still taste the desserts. Mmmm. My husband and I had a very cozy, classy, country club sort of idea in mind when picking the reception site. We had about 130 people in 3 rooms, but it worked out quite well. We loved the site because it is beautiful and have some of the most amazing wedding pictures taken outside of the hotel with the river as the background. We recommend the Salmon.

Even though my idea of a honeymoon was rather simple, my husband planned a fantastic trip for us to Hawaii through AAA. We were able to go to 2 islands, stay at the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and the weather was perfect (September.) No regrets!

I had so much fun going with my dad to pick out his tux. He's a uniform or jeans kinda guy, so finding a place that he would feel comfortable was key. Not too many options in the book, which was perfect! He hates making decisions and shopping. He found what he liked, we picked out the tie color, and he looked fantastic!
I also loved what my husband and the groomsmen wore. There were many color options and a good price range for our friends on a budget.
