This place is perfect for a rehearsal dinner. We rented the upstairs portion with the balcony and bar. We had a buffet style rehearsal dinner that was delicious. The food was perfect, included several options, and was very plentiful. The weather lent to the balcony doors being open and people being to enjoy the view of the golf course from the balcony. They only downfall was the not so great beer selection. That was probably something we should have checked on before the dinner. The staff were great at keeping beverages full and dirty plates collected. Great venue and reasonably priced!
We ventured to London for the first leg of our honeymoon. We arrived at the hotel at 10 am from our flight. The receptionist was wonderful. She went ahead and let us check-in and because the room type we had reserved was not available at the time, she upgraded us to a nicer room. The hotel included a full English breakfast which was superb. The hotel also sits by the Charing Cross tube station which made getting around the city very easy. The décor of the hotel is very elegant and created the perfect environment for the occasion. We are more than happy with our stay.

This hotel was perfect for our guests. They were great at creating an intimate environment for our needs. They supplied a hospitality suite which gave guests a room to mingle in. Also, for a small fee they provided transportation for our guests to and from the wedding. This was huge as we did not have to worry about people getting lost or driving back after having a few adult beverages :). We left goody bags for the guests and they took care of distributing the bags. Additionally, they allowed all guests a late checkout the day after the wedding. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Scott Meckle, the DJ of this company, is a wonderful addition to any wedding. We met with him several weeks before the wedding so we could discuss how we wanted the reception to go. He was great as he also acted as an emcee for the reception. He kept things going and very lively. He was very professional as was his appearance and set-up. His wife acts as his assistant and they are a great team. The cost was comparable to other DJs we interviews, but his personality is perfect for his occupation. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for the perfect wedding DJ.

Ok, I realize you may not think of this place for a wedding cake, but they do great work. They provided several flavor options for the cake. We did a tiered wedding cake with four different types of cake. The bakery manager assured that everything was just how we wanted it. The only downside was we had to set the cake up ourselves at the reception. We received so many complements on the taste and presentation of the cake. Our guests could not believe it when we told them we got it at Sam’s. I will definitely be a return customer for events where I need special cakes, etc.

The best limo driver ever. The car was spotless and beautiful. Originally we were only going to use the Limo to get home from the wedding. But after the reception we were still at high energy levels, so the limo driver suggested a quiet tour of historic Huntsville. Well it was perfect. Then, we went back to the reception picked up a few quests and the limo drive took us to our hotel. He was very friendly and offered to go back to the reception to pick up anyone else who might need a ride home. This was by far the most affordable service we could find. Also, the driver would not let us tip him and stated that he was doing his job!

Costco saved the day. Thursday before the wedding we were suppose to get a delivery of fresh calla lilies from an online wholesale distributor. Well, instead of receiving the flowers, we received a phone call that the flowers would not be there until the following Monday (after the wedding). So after searching numerous shops in Huntsville, I ventured to Costco to checkout their fresh flower selection. To my amazement they had just the right amount of Calla Lilies and White Roses to create beautifully boquets for myself and my bridal party. In addition, the price could not have been better. The sales associate provided me with baby’s breath and a few other decorative flowers to make my bouquets complete. I was so happy even though it required a little more work putting the bouquets together.
I cannot say enough about this venue. For those who prefer a more natural, rustic environment, this place is perfect. We had our ceremony outside of the lodge overlooking the mountain. When we arrived everything was perfectly tidy. They had left water for us as it was a very warm day . There were no restrictions on catering or alcohol that seemed abnormal. Compared to other venues, it is more than affordable. I would definitely recommend this site. There is plenty of parking for guests, and options on renting the entire the lodge or just individual rooms depending on the size of the wedding.

We used Men’s Warehouse to outfit the men in the wedding party. Overall, we rented ten tuxedos from them. What we really liked about this company was the ability to set up an account at one store and then let each person go to the store in their area to get measured. When the gentlemen went to the Men’s Warehouse in Huntsville to pick-up their attire before the wedding, there were several errors in the order. One of the guys did not have shoes, another had a jacket that was too small. This caused unneeded stress. In the end, the store manager brought the correct size coat and shoes to the wedding site 3 hours before the wedding. So, they did make up for their mistakes, but the mistakes never should have happened to begin with.
This was an excellent show which gave me numerous ideas. It has a good selection of vendors for wedding cakes, catering, bridal dresses, and wedding venues. There was also a good deal of photographers. There was a fashion show of brides wear (gowns, rehearsal dinner dresses, bridesmaid attire) in addition to apparel for the groom and his party. A local radio station was there as the emcee. I would definitely recommend this event to brides-to-be. The only downside was the paying to get in. You would think with the amount of revenue that show generates for the vendors that there would be no fee.
