I order a dress from Amsale at the Wedding Library at the end of march. They told me they would send me an email to confirm my order and they didn't. I left them a message and wrote two e-mails and had no reply. Since it was a rush order and they were insecure on having the dress delivered from Amsale on time, I thought they didn't place the order and didn't bother to let me know. I bought another dress as a back up plan and 2 weeks later the Amsale dress was charged on my card. But on April 22nd, when they were supposed to call me to try the dress at the store, I didn't hear from them. Next Monday I called them 3 times and no one answered so I left 3 messages saying I was leaving the country and had to pick up my dress. No one called me back. I sent them an e-mails and no one wrote me back. I left a message and still nothing. I had to pay an extra fee so the dress would be delivered on time and they didn't even bother to answer my messages?
After I contact Amsale - who said they could not get involved in the matter but that they contacted the Wedding Library and they said they tried to contact me but that I did not have a voicemail set up - which is a lie, the Wedding Library sent me an email saying that they were closed on the day I called them (Monday!) and that they would look into the situation. It's been one week and I still haven't heard from them.
I think this is extremely rude and dishonest and I would expect more from a store associated with Amsale.
