Fancy! Part of the reason why my husband and I didn’t drink so much at our wedding (we set a three drink maximum for the wedding) was because we wanted to remember the special details of the day and the hotel! We only stayed at the hotel one night, but it was great! The bed was super soft, the room was really REALLY nice, and the front desk people were great. Even the carpet was fancy! One tip is to have your friends check you in sooner so that you already have the key and can go right upstairs. I think showing up at the hotel was so cool, it’s such a nice hotel in such a nice location.

My sister-in-law used to work for Global Dream vacations (but she left to move to Orlando). She was always calling us up when she found out about specials. I saw them at the Tulsa Wedding Show, the staff that works there is still really nice and friendly. I would have booked my vacation with them regardless, because they really do have the best vacation deals. We got a great deal and spent a week at an incredible resort and spa in Bora Bora. I think people should check them out because their deals are better than what you would find on expedia or other websites.

We had rented a party bus to pick up and drop off our friends from the hotel, and we also rented the bus to drive guests around while we had our pictures taken. The idea was to let the guests do some bar hopping before the reception. People who went on the party bus said the bus was fine, a little crowded, and that they did go to some interesting bars. I can’t really comment on the experience because I wasn’t there, but most of my girlfriends said it was “okay” rather than great. I think this was fun for the guests who drank, but it meant that those people got drunk faster. We had no issues, so it was fine. People really celebrated our wedding, and we had lots of nice toasts!

This was a great place to go after we rehearsed the wedding. The food is great, tasty and healthy, and the atmosphere is wonderful. It’s one of my favorite restaurants that I like to go to on special occasions. We had the option of renting a private room, but there was a minimum purchase and no one in my wedding party argued that we needed a private room. Eating in the regular dinning hall is fine. You need a reservation, and it’s always better to call a few days ahead if it’s a busy weekend. The waiter and waitstaff are also very professional.

This was a beautiful location. The site manager, Jodie, was great to work with and kept everything in our budget and on time. She has done dozens of weddings here, and she knows what looks best. My suggestion, which was originally her suggestion, was to do less on decorations because the space is so beautiful. There are hardwood floors, which I love, and huge windows, and it doesn’t matter if it rains because the whole thing takes place inside. Our party was 210, and they were able to make the space seem spacious but not empty.

Krystal and Joe are both great photographers, and Krystal is, on a side note, an excellent make-up artist, too! They took the time to get to know us, what we wanted, and they delivered on really creative and beautiful photos. I love the picture of us dancing! The light and everything was perfect! I loved this experience so much, and I loved my pictures so much, that I saved our photographer’s number in my cell phone for when I get pregnant and want to get maternity photographs.

My memory of this place was that it was super busy. They have a great selection of suits, and they are advertised in the newspapers and radio, so many people know about it. They are busy, but they take appointments so we didn’t need to wait for my husband’s fitting. I think that’s why I liked them so much, because they honor their appointments before the walk-ins, and the tailors are really good about explaining to walk-ins that they will be seen, they just need to wait. Very professional. The suit looked great, and we did get a deal because many friends also rented suits through Ascot Tuxedos.

This is a cute store that sells wedding cards, lots of different stationary, and other cute small gifts that you would find at a stationary store. I think this was a great place, because we were able to get the cards for the invitations, the guest book, cards for the seating chart, a wedding memory book, and thank you cards. The thank you cards were beautiful, really bright tiny cards which I wouldn’t have even noticed unless the staff girl picked them off the shelf. I liked the store, which is probably why I spent more money on items there. The store is super cute and is worth checking out.

I want to give the Super 8 hotel 8 stars because the hotel was close to the downtown area, it was super cheap, and the rooms were clean and nice. We have many friends who are still in collage or who are still on their first job, and we didn’t want them to spend all their money on a hotel. By staying at the Super 8 rather than a more expensive hotel, the guests were able to save about $50 a night, which meant they could stay an extra day. They also do group bookings, so I just booked the number of rooms I thought we would need. They have parking, a pool, and the rooms were pretty clean. Not as fancy or as nice as some other hotels, but you can’t beat the savings.
Trees were a running theme at our wedding. We had tree outlines on our invitations, and we chose earth tones for our bridesmaids, and we decided to name the tables on our seating charts after trees in Oklahoma. Because my husband and I are avid hikers, we decided that a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation would be better than flower seeds. We made a small table displaying the donation made. I found that some people liked the idea, but more people didn’t know what the Arbor Day Foundation was, which was a bit confusing having to explain it.
