Obviously we all want something nice to wear on the wedding night, and the whole honeymoon week, but you also want to make sure that you have a great bra for your wedding day. As part of my bridal week preparation, I went with my best friend to Frederick's of Hollywood and picked out several outfits! I got the sexy lacy lingerie, but I also got a really cute sleeping gown, with a bit of lace, for the rest of the week. I was more focused when it came time to make sure I found good support for when I was in their wedding dress. I bought a really great seamless bustier which was perfect for my strapless wedding dress. I was so impressed with how well it worked. I could breath and jump up and down. It makes such a big difference between looking good and looking stunning.

One of my bridesmaids set up the party, which was composed of several close friends, a few cousins, and then a few people from work. I had insisted that if there was going to be a party, that it would be classy and that there would not be penis pasta or straws anywhere near our table. I did wear a crown (I didn't have a problem with this), and we enjoyed martinis and appetisers for a few hours! It was really fun, because I can't remember the last time we all got together and had a real girls night out! The music was great, the atmosphere is always fun and upbeat. The outdoor patio is really nice, so I suggest going out on the patio is you get a chance.

This is actually where Steven and I had our first date, so it was where we wanted to have the family dinner with our family and close friends right before the wedding. This place is ugly from the outside, it's not in the nicest area of town, and you wouldn't think much of it except that it has some of the best Italian food and pizza in the state. Seriously, I fell in love with their garlic sticks way before I fell in love with Steven! The food is great, the staff is really nice, and the best part is that it is casual, and it is a family restaurant. This is where you want to go when you're a big group of people, because you know you'll feel welcomed and the food will still taste good. They can make your pizza really spicy if you request it, and the more they get to know you, and the more you request, the spicier it will be.

When I mentioned that the gardens had a list of rules and regulations, this included who we could use as a caterer. This made the decision easier for us, because there are hundreds of caterers in the area, and we were happy to work with one that already knew the facilities and area. We ordered our wedding cake from here as well, mainly because they have an amazing pastry chef as part of their team. We also went with a martini bar, because we wanted our guests to have fun and to make the party feel more like a light garden party after the ceremony. The food was delicious, they helped us come up with a great menu for our guests, and the staff was perfect. Everyone who was on staff the night of the ceremony was professional and extremely polite.

This company came recommended to me from the same person who recommended I check out Sassy's. They were a great company to work with. Our driver as very nice, and it was very easy to plan the timing of when and where the stretch Rolls Royce would come and fetch the bridal party. I always knew that I was going to have a limo drive me around on the day of my wedding, and I was happy that the car we had was fabulous and clean and really luxery. Everyone was in a better mood riding in a limousine! It was as if we didn't know what we were going to do that day, even when we were all dressed up, until we got the red carpet treatment and were escorted to our waiting cars.

Right away I knew that I wanted to go here. I had only been there one other time, with my own mother while she was visiting, and we both agreed that it would be a beautiful and elegant place to hold a wedding. Everything about the place, with the right extra details, would and did look elegant. I think this is also a very popular site, so we made sure they we booked it right away, and then based on the date we set around the other details of our wedding. They are very specific about their rules and regulations, and the time of how long an event can last. I enjoyed working with them because they were interested in making my wedding day special, but also in preserving the beauty of the garden. It was a small and tasteful wedding, everything went perfect.

They offer tuxedos and they will fit you for a suit here. Steven said that it was a good experience. All I know is that he looked great on the wedding day and that I loved seeing him in a suit! He wore it for me this past Valentine's Day when we went to pur first married Valentine's Day dinner:) He's just so handsome! Back to the review, Steven said what was great is that they just type his name in the system, and then his brother in the next state could still go in and get suits that matched with all the other groomsmen. I didn't go with him so I couldn't say whether or not it was the suit version of a David's Bridal, but I think it's very big and important.

I think that we sort of botched this part up a bit. We had different ideas of what the other person wanted in regards to the invitations. Steven thought it would be find to just send our emails, I knew that our older relatives would want paper invitations, and then in the end his mother wanted paper invitations for everyone. I wanted to have a paper-free wedding because I felt that no one really cares that much about invitations, and as long as people know they are invited, they will be there. When we first thought we were going to have a paper-free wedding, we bought a website through ewedding.com. We chose this site over other sites because even though we had to pay (less than $5 a month); we got the number of pictures and information that we wanted. We found we couldn't have certain things with the free wedding WebPages. Then I went to Michael's Arts and Crafts store and picked up some Wedding Invitation kits (a box of thirty for the older relatives that would like a card). Then Steven's mother said that everyone needed invitations, and I looked around online. We really liked the cards we saw on minted.com, and we liked that they would mail us a sample before we would purchase the whole thing. It was great! Quick, easy service and it was excellent quality. The cards looked great, we had RSVP cards, and we even had programs made at a later date. They have some really beautiful and trendy cards, and I'm happy that seeing we had to get cards, that we got these cards.

This was something fun for us! We knew that Hallmark had free ecards, so we looked into seeing whether or not they had funny ecards that let people know through email that we had gotten engaged. They have the cutest cards. I already was a Hallmark card online member, but it takes two seconds to sign up if you're not already a member. We picked a card, made a list of all the email addresses of our friends and relatives, wrote up a quick message, and then sent them out. We were getting email responses right away. So many of my friends and family live far away, and I knew that many wouldn't be able to be there for the wedding. I think this is a great way of letting people know as soon as possible about great news, and the promise of a great wedding party in the near future.
