They were perfect! Karen Glazer, the events coordinator, was just so helpful every step of the way. She gave me suggestions and helped me plan the perfect wedding! The gardens were perfect for the ceremony and cocktail hr was in greenhouse, which everyone loved. When it started raining, all of the staff ran out to help the caterers move everything inside the lobby for dinner. Even amongst all the chaos, they were very professional and organized. I was not even upset over the rain because they made everything flow. To this day everyone that was there says what a beautiful wedding and perfect location!

Esther Underhay was fantastic! She was just so lovely to sit and go over everything with. She suggested some music for the ceremony and even learned The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven” for me to walk down the aisle.J She played our requests among her own suggestions for cocktail hour. Everything was very elegant indeed.

Denise, the owner, was extremely helpful. She was great at suggestions and sat with me going through piles of magazine tear outs that I brought in. The bouquets, arrangements and bridal arch were perfect! Prices were great! Her and her husband came and set everything up, even all 100 candles that I had placed all around. It was just gorgeous.

Nancy, owner of the salon, came to me in Delray from Wellington and did my hair. She did several test runs for me at no charge. She worked with me and all of my changes.

Caterer:

Absolutely perfect! Chef/owner Bruce Feingold, was extremely helpful with picking out menu. Food was delicious, even stole more desert to bring back to hotel.J Staff was great. My wedding was outside and right after salad was served, it started to downpour! Staff was quick to get all tables and quests inside and served dinner within minutes despite all of the chaos! I could not have asked for anything better. They saved my wedding!

Rehearsal Dinner:

Great prices, great food. Very accommodating for large party.

We lost power during the night because of the storm and they did not have a generator or flashlights. We were given glow sticks to try to pack. It was a bit stressful since we had an early flight and no alarm clocks and light.

My caterer was the one that really dealt with them, but when I did, they were helpful. Only thing was that we were charge for broken and lost glasses that I was not made aware of by the pick up crew and they said I was. I guess if I contacted them before a certain time, I would not be charged. Long boring story

This is a mixed review. When I first met him I thought he was very cocky but my mom liked him so we went with him. He was also highly recommended by The Knot. He was very expensive $3000 (and that was a “deal”), which included an engagement picture, album plus 2 parent albums and high res disc. He was at the wedding on time and was professional. He did work with me for the pictures I wanted. We received our proofs online a couple months later and I was disappointed to see that the pictures included pics of his assistant! I did not pay $3000 for pictures of this woman. I was also disappointed that there were no pictures of the table set ups and arch set ups. He also did not get a picture of our going away car, the Rolls Royce that was in the movie Arthur. I do understand that things were a bit chaotic because of the sudden downpour, but…Anyway, I choose my pics for the album and then did not hear from him. After many emails and calls and me getting “I’m working on it” we finally received our high res disc on Dec 12, 2009. This is 14 months after my wedding. I had to physically go to his office and ask him where everything was. Mind you, he was paid in full prior to the wedding. We then received our proof of the album right before Christmas. I made our choices and sent back about 3 weeks ago. I still have not heard anything back. I am hoping we can get our album before my son is born in April. I will say, however, that I did like the pictures. They were nicely shot and were beautiful. He did catch some great moments between my grandfather, my only grandparent who has since passed, and me. I would have given 5 stars if we received the pictures earlier and if we have received the albums.

He was great! My mom is strict Catholic and my husband’s dad is Baptist, he was able to work both religions into ceremony and it was just perfect. Everyone was happy. And it was short, so that made my hubby and me happy
