Mama's Fish House in Paia - AMAZING!!!! On the menu it even gives you the name of the person who CAUGHT the fish you're about to eat. The beach right outside is popular with wind-surfers, so you get a free show. Make a Reservation!

We Loved THE BANYAN TREE and some of the many historical museums and art galleries along the streets in Lahaina.

We tried to make advance reservations at the Old Lahaina Luau but they were sold out well in advance. We decided to try this one. It was crowded, and the food was OKAY, but not GREAT. The entertainment was pretty Vegas-Style, but we had to do a Luau on Maui, so it was okay with us. The Mai Tais were really watered down, but my DH went to the bar to ask for another "splash of rum" and they gladly gave it to him.

We did the MAUI PRINCESS dinner cruise. We heard it was really smooth (DH gets motion sickness) and this thing was ROCKY!!!!! The food wasn't good, and the "dessert bar" they raved about was a few stale brownies and peach tarts. SKIP IT!

I highly recommend the book MAUI REVEALED. It was a great resource and we visited many of the sights in the book. We were able to snorkel right at our hotel, so we didn't book any day-trips to do that.

I just happened to see a Costco Travel kiosk while leaving Costco one day and decided to give them a call. Its a full-service travel agency! They offer most hotels, but not all, so check their website. We upgraded the package listed on their website and still saved a bundle of money. They were knowledgeable and helpful. We will book a vacation through them again for sure!

One of my favorite places on the planet! There is only one Hotel in Hana, and it is WONDERFUL! We stayed in a Sea Ranch cottage, right on the lawn, which was like a little house! There was a jacuzzi on our porch! The fridge was stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks, including a bottle of champagne! We got massages at their spa, which were included in our package from COSTCO TRAVEL and they were fantastic. The food from room service isn't the greatest so next time we will stop and bring groceries with us because there is a mini-kitchen in the cottage. Just about the only other place for food is TUTU'S right on Hana Beach, but it's a real hole-in-the-wall place and I wasn't too sure about eating there. My DH convinced me, and I had a pretty good breakfast sandwich, but they take a LONG time (usually only one person working). If you want to enjoy the site of Hana Bay and don't mind waiting, check it out.

If you get tired of ordering room service for breakfast, there is a great place called THE HONOLUA STORE (where most of the resort employees go) that is a short walk from the Ritz, and a nice morning walk from Kapalua Bay (about 15 minutes) and it has REALLY GOOD and inexpensive breakfasts, snacks, and all sorts of things you might need but don't want to pay Hotel Gift Shop prices for -- We walked here almost every morning because I got tired of $30 bacon and eggs (maybe a slight exaggeration), and I got to have cereal most every morning, and we got snacks for day trips. Check it Out!

My Boss actually clued me in to this Hotel. Kapalua is one of the most beautiful areas on the island, and this hotel is amazing. It has it's own private beach which is only accessible from the Hotel so it is rarely crowded. The staff were some of the friendliest I've ever encountered on vacation. They go out of their way to take care of you. The restaurants at the Hotel are a little pricey, but very good. We were able to snorkel right at the Hotel (and saw tons of fish!!!!) and we also rented a kayak to tool around the Bay. They have a large lawn that overlooks the beach. The Ritz Carlton is right up the road, and I'm honestly glad we chose Kapalua Bay instead!

Jane does wonderful work, and she is such a nice lady! She works with her daughter out of their shop in Toluca Lake, and they did a great job on my gown. It needed to be taken in a bit, and I was very happy with the work they did, and she is VERY reasonable! Plus, she’s just such a nice lady, you can’t help but love her!
