When we hit the bar district in Philadelphia, we settled on Mad River for Becca's bachelorette party. The music was loud and bumping, drinks were decently priced, and there was a large crowd of young people to have a ton of fun with!

The work done by this photographer is amazing! Not only do they often do weddings and portraits, but also spend their free time photographing wildlife, including wolves. All of the photography is done digitally, which means that alterations between color, black and white, and sepia can be done on any picture. I think that we will probably work with a different photographer due to cost considerations, but if you can afford it, I would definitely work with this group.

Communication with the fellows at party DJ's was quick and easy. Brian was friendly, and walked us through all of the things that we needed to know. He offered his services from everywhere from being 'a fly on the wall' or completely running the reception. Once we signed papers, Brien gave us all the information that we needed, and a handout detailing all the songs that needed to be picked. Very friendly, very helpful.

What an amazing group of people! We decided to find a congregation to get married among. These people welcome us with open arms. Also, if you're a member of the congregation, using the building is without cost. Joshua Brown, who is the pastor of the church, is wonderful about planning and working with the wedding plans.

What an incredible company! When we got engaged, my fiance decided that he wanted to design all of the stationary and invitations himself, so we started looking for a printing company. Zazzle fit very well for us; when ordering in larger quantities, they give you a significant amount of money off per unit, which has been very helpful. They also allow for the flexibility of design that we needed, and the quality of the products so far has been exactly what we were looking for. Zazzle also has a 30 day money back guarantee, not only for damaged merchandise, but if the product doesn't turn out the way you had desired, they will refund all of your money. We will be working with Zazzle over and over again, based on the quality of the products that we receive. Production and shipping is always early, which we also appreciate.

When we began looking for a caterer, all the people that we talked with told us, in no uncertain terms, that Who Cooks For You was the ONLY group to work with when planning gourmet food. Jen, who we've worked with, is great about giving us the flexibility we like to have in the menu. We have a relative who is a vegan chef, and she wanted to help design, which ended us working fine. The prices were competitive, and we will report back when we've had to food. Working with this group is friendly, and from all reports the food will be wonderful.

Based out of Union City, IN, this shop is amazing for desserts. We eat lunch there often, and they seemed the best choice when looking for a pastry chef for our wedding cake. We worked with Gen, who was extremely helpful from the beginning. Its clear that she has a huge number of things to do, but always makes time to meet with us when we stop by. She was also the only vendor we worked with that made it clear that we could do ANYTHING with our cake that we wanted, that our imaginations were the limit. We ended up designing our own cake working with Gen! Will report back once we've eaten it, but judging from their desserts (which we will be using as guest favors), it will taste amazing,

When searching for a reception site, it was difficult to find one that both my fiance and I could agree on. When we walked into the 4th Floor, however, we both knew it was prefect. Set in the Depot District of Richmond, this beautiful space is well hidden! The ride up is on a rickety elevator, and the outside shows its old-warehouse origins, but the inside is beautiful! The lights wound around the rafters give the space a soft glow, the tables and stage pieces are all mobile, and best or all its fairly inexpensive to rent. They supplied me with a list of vendors that they are used to working with, which made my vendor search easier. The coordinator was friendly and helpful all the way through! Be sure to book this one in advance though; we called for ours a little over a year in advance, and I'm pretty sure they had people calling about that same night soon after!

I have to tell you; we looked at five different bridal salons before selecting Sharnett to handle all of the dresses and tux business. From the first moment we entered the store, we have always been greeted by professional, friendly girls who are ready and willing to help out. When you arrive, there is someone on hand to assist you personally, and though there are many women trying on dresses, I always receive personal attention. Another thing that I LOVE about Sharnetts is that they are extremely well organized. I would never have imagined finding a bridal shop that was unorganized, but there were so many that didn't know what dresses they had in stock, where to find them, etc. All my information at Sharnetts is in a file, whomever is helping me is able to find everything that I need in a short amount of time, and I'm always feeling happy and special when I am there. I couldn't ask for anything more, and have loved my time there.

Tivoli Gardens is a flower shop that I have pretty consistently visited, and have found the women who run it to be extremely helpful and friendly. So, when it came time to plan the wedding, it was the first and only florist that we contacted. Joyce sat down with me individually, with my fiance and I, and also with my slightly bicker-some sister and mother in order to allow me to involve everyone. One she had heard everyone's preferences, we were provided with a sheet detailing the prices of everything that we had talked about. This was extremely helpful in making the final decisions about the flowers for the party and the decorations for the church and reception. Prices were very reasonable, and the service was wonderfully friendly and understanding. A+ Tivoli Gardens!
