This is a club that offers female impersonator performances. It was planned by my friends and I had no idea that we were going there. We had a party suite to ourselves, but chose to go out into the main club. It is separated into different sections, one being a dance area with a DJ and the other being the stage area where the “women” perform. They sing and dance and there was one that had a comedy routine. It had a great time even though I wouldn’t have chosen it myself. It was a girls night out that I will never forget.

Beautiful restaurant great location, but that’s about the only good things I can say about it. We made reservations months ahead, because we know we were going to have a lot of people attending the rehearsal dinner. We even called the day before just to reconfirm our reservation and remind them that we had a large party. We arrived about 10-15 minutes before time and the area was not ready. The manager and wait staff had to scramble to get everything ready. There was only 1 waiter for our entire party (40+). It took forever to get the food out and it didn’t come out at the same time. Some of us had finished eating before others food had even come out. The food was not very good either, two people wouldn’t even eat what they ordered because it was so bad and the manager didn’t even remove it from the bill.

Oh wow, where do I begin…? Let’s see, I found this company online of course. We went to look at the chalet that we had originally chosen and they talked us in to renting a larger more expensive one, which I must admit was much nicer than the first. We paid the deposit and were told to pay the rest the when we came back for the wedding. We booked it for four nights because we were going to stay there a couple of days before the wedding and we had out of state guest coming. So we arrived that Thursday afternoon, pay the remainder of the balance and go to the chalet. We had trouble getting the lockbox to open and they had to reset it several times before we could even enter. Finally we got to go inside to find that it had NOT been cleaned. So we go back to the rental company and they tell us that the cleaning company is running late. At this point it was only the two of us, but our guests were to be there within the next hour or so. Surely enough, our guest stated arriving and they had not cleaned yet. We couldn’t even unload the car. Finally the cleaning crew showed up just as we were going to the rehearsal dinner. AWFUL!!!

I found this bakery by looking on the internet. My initial contact was via email. It took them a few days to call me back and I had almost considered not using them. After speaking with the woman there, I was completely at ease. I explained that I lived in Nashville and would only be in the area one weekend before the wedding. She made a special appointment for me to come in on a Sunday for a tasting. We chose the size and flavors for the cake. On my wedding day they delivered the cake and set up the table. I was pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely beautiful. She went above and beyond what I had expected. It was delicious and moist. Everyone loved it, especially me!

The chapel was much smaller than I had expected. There wasn’t a place to have a reception. Parking was a bit if a hassle. There were apparently several weddings that day, because when we arrived at the chapel someone was getting married. Our guest had to wait to park until their party had cleared out. There weren’t nearly enough seats. They did not allow guest to take photos or video and said if they did that we would be charged for their most expensive package. We couldn’t have an outside photographer or videographer and had to buy theirs if we wanted any pictures/video at all. The ceremony was rushed we were rushed for pictures. We were supposed to have been at the gazebo, but they did not decorate it. Not at all what I had expected, I was very disappointed. I would suggest to anyone not to get married at a “destination” wedding that is so popular. It might have been of for a renewal of vows but not a wedding.

My stylist was excellent. I took her a picture from a magazine and she replicated it perfectly. The staff was so friendly and I felt at ease. The building was quite small and kind of reminded me of being at some ones house. There were several of us and it was quite cramped. I didn’t actually have time to see the salon before the wedding day, so I was a little surprised at the size. For a larger party I would recommend going to somewhere else. The prices were a little higher than I am used to paying, but I guess they are normal for that area. My appointment did run a little long and I was worried that I would be late, but it was fine. Thankfully I booked earlier than I wanted to.

I chose to have the invitations done here, because they had done some business cards for me in the past. Unfortunately business had slowed down and the girl I had worked with before was no longer there. They had a standard selection of invitations, but I found some that I really liked. The woman that helped me seemed to be stretched to the limit and didn’t really take time to listen to what I wanted and she was really distracted. The service wasn’t at all like I had gotten in the past. The invitation came back and my name was spelled wrong so they had to redo them. The price was pretty good (they gave me a partial refund), but if I could do it over again, I would have went elsewhere and paid a little more.

Ericka’s Tailoring is one of the best places I have been to. I used them prior to having my wedding dress altered for other dresses and even leather. The service is sometimes a little slow because they stay very busy. But she made my dress a priority and that made me very happy. They almost make you feel like family because they are so friendly and helpful. Service is always reliable and the quality is top of the line. She took great care in altering me dress and it fit like you wouldn’t believe. It was beautiful before, but after she was finished with it, it was amazing. The hours and location are very convenient. Her prices are truly unbeatable.

The bridesmaid dresses and the flower girl dresses were bought here. The owner is so nice and helpful. There are lots of styles and colors to choose from. This is a consignment shop so the prices were unbelievable. I didn’t want the bridesmaids to have dresses that matched exactly and the owner was able to help me pick out different dresses that complimented their shapes and still went together very well. She didn’t try to rush me even though she was very busy. She is truly appreciated! I had a great time with Diane and would recommend her to anyone getting married.

The name says it all, it is a warehouse. The good thing was that there were a lot of dresses to choose from in different styles. The person that helped me was so nice. I felt like she was interested in helping me find the perfect dress. She was not pushy at all. I tried on several that ranged in price and ended up getting a less expensive one and she didn’t try to persuade me to get the most expensive one. Great bargain on my dress it was only $500 and I saw one similar to it somewhere else that was much more. I would recommend anyone going there because of the fact that I wasn’t pressured into buying the most expensive dress. That was great because you know how stressful it is to begin with.
