My husband and I did get matching tattoos six weeks before our wedding. We each got birds, and when we brought the birds together it looked like the birds were kissing! We actually got this idea from a tattoo artist at this shop. We had been going there and debating over what tattoos to get, and the bird idea was perfect. I highly recommend this studio. My husband does have lots of tattoos, and most of them are from here. Very clean and very safe.

Our wedding night hotel was nice, and for the price we paid it should have been nice. I found out later that one of the bridesmaids went there ahead of time and made the front desk switch our rooms so we would have a better room, which was nice of them. What I really liked about it was that they have a restaurant on the first floor. We met many of our friends for lunch the next day. The hotel was expensive, but the beds were soft, and it was nice being somewhere different following the ceremony.

It was my husband’s and my first time ever leaving the United States, so it felt safer putting the decision making into someone else’s hands. We actually had a really great travel agent. Our agent, Elly, kept coming up with lists of hotels and locations for us to chose from. She basically did all the searching, and I think we still got a great deal. I think going through an agent is the way to go. She knew all the ins and outs of where we were going, and I felt so confident in here travel plans.

We used the wedding website for a starting point for our wedding. We realized that not everyone would have access to the internet, but most people did. The site is free, and they have great graphics to chose from. We were able to put up lots of information, and we were also able to add on maps and directions. The only draw back was that our name was already chosen, so we had to be more creative with our domain name.

I think this is the place to rent if your going to create a wedding site. We got everything we needed, and they also have a beautiful selection of linens and lots of extra decorations to chose from. I felt that we were still able to make our wedding special and unique and beautiful with the equipment we rented from them.

I think it’s important to mention that we got married in a church. This was very important to me and my husband, and I think the whole congregation appreciated that both he and I had been members since we were little. It’s not overtly fancy on the inside. We bought flowers to decorate the church with but also as a sort of thank you. The whole energy of being married inside a place we had known all our life, with God, was sacred and blessed.

I think we chose a very good catering company. They had a great menu, and they also provided the staff for the event. The staff was great. I really appreciated that every member of their team was dressed in black and white, and that they behaved really respectfully. I have been to some events where the staff is just awful, but they have a good team working for them.

My husband and I were surprised to find out that most places will charge you for a tasting and consultation, because we were hoping to get lots of free cake samples. I was also surprised at how busy most of these bakers were! We went with the second bakery we went to, because they were really nice and we liked their portfolio. The cake looked and tasted perfect. I was so happy with my cake. Everything in this store is delicious, too. We bought cookies for the ride home and ate them all in the parking lot.

I am not sure why we drove to Buffalo for the bridesmaids dresses, but we really liked looking at dresses. I’m the first of my close friends to get married, so this was a big deal for us all. I think we bought the dresses from this store because the staff was very nice, they had great energy, and they kept bringing us dresses that we liked. We hadn’t been to a store before this that understood what kind of dresses we wanted, and it was great working with people who were wedding smart.

My mom had the bridal shower at her house, but she ordered in lots and lots of food from Wegmans. Because I am the first girl in my family to get married, my wedding shower was actually a huge event. It was all my female relatives, and one of my aunts even flew in from England. Catering the whole event was a good idea because we had nice food to eat. I liked it better than just having regular snacks because I still wanted to watch my weight in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The catering menu gives you enough healthy choices aside from regular cut vegetables.
