This is a really cute restaurant, really unique looking. The first time I went there I thought we had gone to Snow White’s house! We wanted to have a really nice family dinner together before the wedding, and because my family is so big we decided that it would be easier to go to a restaurant. The funny thing is that Karl Ratzsch’s is the same restaurant we went to right before my aunt got married a year before! We booked a room, the Troubadour Room, which was really beautiful and a perfect size for us, because we were 22 people with Drew’s family. The menu was good, lots of tasty meat and European dishes. I loved the food, even though it is very rich. The desserts are the best part, too.

This was the best price that I could find for a limousine. Drew and I would have been happy showing up in our Subaru, if our mother’s would have let us. Everyone insisted that we arrive in a limo, so we did. We ordered it only from the church to the hotel, which still gave us some time to drive around town to have some pictures taken. Our driver was really nice, and the limousine was nice! It was more comfortable traveling in a limo than traveling in a car!

I think Express is a fun shop, and they do sell lots of cute dresses! The best part of getting married is that you get to buy dresses for so many different occasions, like the bridal shower and the rehearsal dinner. I bought my rehearsal dinner dress here. It was cute, simple, and short but tasteful. Their prices are a bit expensive, but they also often have great sales. I bought my dress right after Christmas, and I got it for almost 50% off. Some of the clothes may seem over trendy, but they do have some nice fashionable outfits, you just need to look for them.

This was a beautiful location for a wedding! My parents really wanted the event to be held at a hotel, because the hotel will then take care of many of the details. This was no exception! They took care of setting up the Ballroom, put us in contact with their caterer, helped us chose a menu, block of hotel rooms for our guests, put us in contact with florists and Djs. I really appreciated how helpful the staff was, and all the time that they took during the consultation to bring us on tours of the hotel. My favorite part was the view of the city, and how elegant the whole evening felt. It was more than I could have dreamed for!

We used the caterers that were at the hotel, which was good. The food was exactly what you would find at a typical Wisconsin wedding, lots of cheese and meat plates, and then steak and chicken for the main entrée. They also made the cake, which was expensive but then wedding cakes are expensive.

We also stayed here on our wedding night. We were given the room for free, which was nice! Our family members used it as the place to store all the wedding gifts, and we used the extra living room space as the gift opening room on Sunday morning. It was great having a room at the hotel, because I was exhausted at the end of the night.

I think my husband looked great in his suit! All the guys went for the suit fitting, and my husband explained to me that it was probably the easiest part of the wedding planning. I found out afterwards that they didn’t even need to go altogether, because the suit style that Drew picked was in the system. My only suggestion is to not give them your email address, because Drew received emails announcements from them for about six months after booking his appointment. We still haven’t figured out how they got his email address.

I like to do my own make-up, even on special occasions, but I did decide to treat myself to some new make-up and get a consultation at Sephora’s. I love all the make-up they have there, and I can spend hours looking around the store. I feel like I’m 14 years-old when I walk in! I made my appointment ahead of time, and explained over the phone that I would go in whenever the best formal eveningwear make-up consultant would be there. I don’t think it’s rude to say exactly what you want, and I did offer to go in whenever. Jasmine, the consultant, was great! She had some really good tips for me, showed me new ways that I could apply different foundations, and was also great at showing me colors from different lines that would suit my skin tones. I learned so much, and I found all these new make-up brands!

I had been wearing a promise engagement ring that Drew had given me since our second year of college, and I loved it, but I was really excited when Drew gave me my engagement ring! It was exactly what I wanted! We had gone to Stein’s a few times before to look at rings, and I had pointed to a really beautiful ring from the Diana collection that I loved. I tried it on, and I decided that it was the ring I wanted but because it was so expensive, I didn’t have any expectations. I would have been happy with any ring that Drew gave me. He saved for a year to buy me the ring! I was so touched! We got our wedding bands there, too, which was a much easier choice for both of us. Simple bands, no diamonds, though my ring is in white gold an Drew wanted yellow gold.

I am giving Broadway Paper five stars because I was able to get so many good ideas for wedding favors and decoration ideas! I went once with my mother, and then the second time with my fiancé. It was my fiancé and I who finally decided on a certain set, which were a bit more expensive than we wanted to spend but we really liked the impression that the cards would give. The quality is great, and there are so many different ways to customize the cards. I really loved the owner being there to offer us advice, too. You can tell the people who work there love what they do.

I wanted my bridesmaids dresses to be young and fun looking. I actually wanted them to look like fairies and to wear wings, but everyone told me that was a horrible idea, even my husband! I didn’t mind. We went to J Crew, before it became popular by our president’s wife, to look at dresses. They have great dresses, and a great bridal section. We took a tip from one of the sales girls there to look at the online catalogue to see what was on sale. We got our bridesmaids dresses for 75% off! It was a great deal, and the dresses were still the same great quality! Because we had been to the store we knew what sizes J Crew fit each bridesmaids. The dresses they had on sale at the store were also really incredible, the only problem was that we couldn’t find three dresses the same. I really suggest looking online at the catalogue after going to the store.

I had gone here before with my of my best friends when she was looking for a wedding dress, and I just loved the selection. When it was my turn to get a wedding dress, this was the first place I went! I booked an appointment, and my bridesmaids and I drove over and spent a few hours looking at dresses. I knew the style that I wanted, the dress I bought was the second dress I tried on. It was beautiful, all lace, and I loved it! My favorite part was how well the fitting went. They have a really great seamstress team and fitting department, and they took their time to make sure the alterations were perfect. My dress was perfect.
